The independent turntable of the multi-component injection molding machine is a modular expansion injection equipment.With the independent injection unit,it can realize the flexible transformation between the standard injection molding machine and the multi-component injection molding machine,and has broad market value and application prospects.The turntable will tilt after bearing the mold.The turntable slight tilt will cause the mold to collide during the mold clamping process and affect the mold clamping accuracy,cause quality defects such as flash,short shot,which reduces the yield of the product.When the turntable is severely tilted,it will contact with the moving template,which will cause wear and tear caused by the scratching between the turntable and the template.In view of the tilt problem of the turntable in the existing technology,the subject is based on the market planning of the development of a new type of independent turntable by TEDERIC Machinery Co.,Ltd.The two-platen injection molding machine produced by the company with a clamping force of 680 tons is used as the test machine.The structure and working principle of the existing turntable mold clamping system has constructed a virtual prototype simulation experiment platform to study the mechanism of the turntable generating tilt phenomenon.Based on the conclusions of the research,some new independent turntable scheme for turntable roll was proposed.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Constructed a virtual prototype simulation platform and clarified its technical principles.The simulation platform takes the turntable clamping system as the research object,verifies the effectiveness of the joint simulation based on ADAMS,UG and ANSYS,and determines the feasibility of engineering application.(2)Based on the virtual prototype simulation experiment platform,the mechanism of the occurrence of turntable tilt was explored.The research results demonstrate that the occurrence of the turntable tilt phenomenon is related to the turntable structure,shafting components,and turntable mass distribution.Theoretically,the traditional turntable structure can be modified to eliminate the turntable tilt phenomenon.A more economical and feasible method is to avoid the influence of the turntable tilt phenomenon through the optimized design of the independent turntable.(3)Based on the influence of the turntable roll and its generation mechanism,four new independent turntable design scheme was proposed.Aiming at the turntable wear caused by the turntable roll,the "Independent turntable with universal ball" scheme is proposed;in view of the problems of the traditional turntable structure,two sets of spindle-free independent turntable schemes are proposed to reduction in the radial displacement of the turntable;to avoid the impact of tilt phenomenon on mold clamping and products,put forward the "Independent turntable with pressure plate device"program,and complete the prototype production;combined with the actual working situation of the prototype,integrate the characteristics of each program and propose "Anti-roll Independent turntable" as the final solution,the steady state roll of the turntable in the simulated environment is 2.3E-5mm.(4)Through the optimization and improvement of the key components of the final scheme,it was successfully applied to the design of the independent turntable suitable for the TEDERIC DH2100 two-platen injection molding machine and the TEDERIC DE1088 oil-electric hybrid injection molding machine.Realized the promotion of independent turntable scheme from medium-scale machine to large-scale,and the transformation from prototype to product.
