As the main energy source fossil fuel has been used for many years,Concerning on its limited availability and concern for the environment, the new energy sources with high efficiency, energy conservation, environmental protection and sustainable utilization was focusd to develop.Among the energys, hydrogen, because of its high energy density, abundant resources and zero greenhouse gas emissions,is widely considered as a very promising secondary energy. It was undoubtedly one of the most promising ways for photocatalytic water splitting to produce hydrogen, because water was decomposed directly to produce hydrogen by photocatalytic hydrogen production under action of endless sunlight. At the same time, due to the rapid development of electrochemistry,it has been widely studied for using electrochemistry and photoelectrochemical catalytic water splitting to produce hydrogen.Up to now,the field of photocatalytic hydrogen evolution have been devoted out.First, the precursor of cobalt phosphide nano wire was prepared by hydrothermal method, and then the cobalt phosphide nanowire was sintered in a tube furnace by low temperature phosphide method. The diameter and length of the nanowires was about 30-50 nm and 1-4 ?m respectively. The samples were characterized by FTIR,Raman,X-ray diffraction and X-ray energy spectrum.Furthermore, based on the large electronegativity difference between cobalt and nitrogen, cobalt phosphide/polypyrrole nanocomposites was prepared by in-situ ice water bath method. The nano hybrid material was a porous and loose lamellar structure deposited by nanowires, which had a large specific surface area and a relatively large advantage in the field of catalysis. In addition, the metal-N bond in the hybrid samples also was found after the modification of cobalt phosphide nanowires by polypyrrole, which indicated that the hybrid materials of polypyrrole and cobalt phosphide were successfully prepared. Moreover, the results showed that 15 mg cobalt phosphide nanowires could generate 4.11 ?mol hydrogen in 2 hours, while the composite materials is 15.80 ?mol, which proved that hybridization was indeed helpful to improve the effect of photocatalytic hydrogen evolution. In conclusion, the prepared nano hybrid materials were expected to be used for the rapid separation of electron transfer from cobalt phosphide materials,so as to improve the efficiency of photodegradation of water.
