Cage roll forming is an advanced flexible production mode for the round straight welded pipe with high quality,and the forming roll number is very large.When producing various specifications products,it is necessary to adjust the roller parameters or exchange some of rolls.Many times of experiments and test rolling for improvement production process parameters will cause great waste materials and waste of time.This paper takes HFW660 welding pipe roll forming unit as the object,and uses SolidWorks as the secondary development platform to develop the straight seam welding pipe roll forming rapid CAD system,which realizes the rapid parameterization modeling of the whole series of pipe diameters of the unit,and can update the roller position parameters and roll profile parameters in real time.The system provides important tools for field technicians to optimize and develop the process of cage roll forming.This geometric modeling achieves a completely parametric process and solves the effective connection between CAD and CAE models,thereby greatly improving the efficiency of modeling-simulation-optimization of row roll forming.Using the system can shorten the production line modeling time that took one week to complete in minutes.The developed program has a friendly interface,which is suitable for field technicians to develop new products and optimize the use of processes.The forming section of the equipment is the core process section of the high-frequency welded pipe row roll forming.This article analyzes the spatial relationship between the process parameters and equipment parameters of the local rack rolls in the forming section of the HFW660 roll row unit,and derives the part by combining the relevant rack assembly drawings.The conversion formula of the theoretical process parameters of the frame roll,mainly including the pinch frame,the flange frame,the rough-formed frame,the fine-formed frame,etc.,and compared the theoretical measured values of the converted equipment parameters with the actual measured values on site,Verifying the rationality and reliability of the conversionformula,ensuring the correctness and accuracy of the forming process of the unit,and facilitating the smooth adjustment of the roll position parameters on site.
