Industrial wastewater contains a large amount of toxic and harmful substances, which is very harmful to the environment and humans. Therefore, purification of industrial wastewater is an important issue. This article takes the secondary effluent of petrochemical wastewater from a chemical park in Shanghai as the object, uses the homogeneous catalytic ozonation process as the treatment method, conducts a pilot test, improves the catalytic effect by optimizing the reaction conditions, and explores the homogeneous catalytic ozonization process to treat petrochemical wastewater The feasibility of secondary effluent has important application background and industrial value. In the process of exploring the best conditions for the general process of ozonation, through the actual experience of the production site and reviewing the previous literature, the specific results are as follows:the type of catalyst, the amount of ozone added, the pH of the wastewater, and the carbonate content of the wastewater on the effect of ozonation The main effect of the catalyst is H2O2,Mn2+ and Fe2+.During the test,a small amount of catalyst can significantly improve the ozonation effect.Through static experiments, the optimal conditions for homogeneous catalytic ozonation were obtained. When the pH of the wastewater was 5.8,the dosage of ozone was 63 mg/L,and the residence time was greater than 15 min,the optimal molar ratio of H2O2 to O3 0.75,the optimal dosage of Mn2+is 1.5 mg/L,and the optimal dosage of Fe2+is 1.0 mg/L.In the dynamic experiment, the three processes of O3/Mn2+,O3/Fe2+ and O3/H2O2 can improve the efficiency of ozonation. When the amount of ozone added is the same, they have increased the TOC removal rate of wastewater by 6%compared to the ozonation alone,6%and 9%.The TOC of the treated wastewater is less than 20 mg/L,which complies with the comprehensive wastewater discharge standard of Shanghai(DB31/199-2018).
