As a new type of power generation device,solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC)can directly convert chemical energy in fuel into electrical energy,and has great development prospects.However,the operation of SOFC involves complex physicochemical processes,heat transfer,mass transfer,momentum transfer,and electrochemical reactions.Many problems need to be solved before it can be commercialized.Because the SOFC is in a high-temperature,closed environment,it is difficult to carry out internal measurement.The method of testing not only has a high cost,it is not easy to measure internal parameters,but also has high operational requirements,and there are certain safety risks.The numerical simulation method is not only safe,efficient and easy to implement,but also can obtain the internal parameters of the battery.Therefore,it is of great significance to use the numerical simulation method for the coupling analysis of the physical chemistry and electrochemical transfer process of the SOFCHigh temperature operation enables direct internal reforming(DIR)using methane,methanol,natural gas,etc.as fuel.Due to the diversity of fuels,the characteristics of the existence of different fuels in the same cell are not clear.This paper uses simulation software to model and study the flat-type solid oxide fuel cell.The influence of the heating value of the fuel on the same battery system.The main research contents of this paper include:(1)Establish a flat anode-supported SOFC simulation model,study the the power generation performance including internal temperature,fuel composition,current density,and reaction rate distribution of the fuel cell when it is mixed with gas,water gas,biogas,and natural gas,and analyze the steady-state performance of the battery.(2)Taking into account the actual working conditions of SOFC batteries,the working conditions are abrupt,and the transient simulation of the battery by halving the fuel flow rate,reducing the fuel inlet temperature and reducing the working load is studied.(3)Establish the fuel cell energy efficiency and efficiency model,study the fuel utilization rate and power generation efficiency of SOFC under different loads,determine the appropriate working range,and analyze the difference between fuel cell power generation efficiency and efficiency.
