Research On The Design Of Organic Form Furniture Based On Semantic Theory

Organic form furniture is more and more widely infiltrated into the furniture market and people's vision,but there are still some problems in the design process of organic form furniture,such as imitation and "bring doctrine".Therefore,from the perspective of semantic theory,this paper applies semantic theory to the study of organic form furniture design activities,so as to make the design of organic form furniture have more diverse design vision and design thinking,which is also the source of topic selection.This paper studies and discusses the design method of organic form furniture by using the methods of literature research,semantic research,summary and inductionFirstly,the semantic meaning of organic form furniture is elaborated,including the relationship between organic form furniture and semantics,semantic composition,semantic classification and semantic transmission of organic form furniture,and the semantic expression of organic form furniture in semantics is preliminarily discussed.Secondly,the semantic design types and rhetorical devices of organic form furniture are discussed.The semantic design types include functional semantic design and emotional semantic design.Functional semantics includes the practical and spiritual functions of organic form furniture.Then,in the emotional semantic design,the form expression of the shape,color and material of organic form furniture and its emotional content are analyzed The relationship between them.In addition,in the design process of organic form furniture,rhetoric can also be used,including metaphor,metonymy and allegory.Thirdly,it explores the application of semantic difference method in the design of organic form furniture.Through the comparison sample of organic form furniture and non organic form furniture,the investigation and analysis of perceptual semantic evaluation are carried out,and the differences in perceptual semantics between organic form furniture and non organic form furniture are distinguished.Then,the shape design elements of organic form furniture are extracted,including external contour form,cross-section style and transition form elements,and the relationship between these elements and perceptual semantics is analyzed.The results show that the smoother the line is,the more natural,soft and intimate feeling is;the rounder the cross-section style is,the more natural the furniture is;the transition style with arc processing is also analyzed Compared with the linear transition form,the form can bring people a warm and natural feeling.This paper investigates the preference of organic form furniture and non organic form furniture.The results show that the aesthetic cognition and acceptance of people with non professional design knowledge background are not as good as those with professional design knowledge background,which confirms the research value of semantics in organic form furniture design.Finally,based on the previous research,this paper analyzes the relevant design cases of organic form furniture,and carries out the design practice of organic form furniture,enriches the design of organic form furniture from the perspective of semantics,and provides certain reference for the design of organic form furniture.
