Pinolene is a cycloolefin dimer derived from rosin,which has good film-forming properties.In order to broaden the application of pinolene,this study developed pinolene spray adjuvant(PA).Compared PA with the existing foreign product Vapor Gard(VG),the spreading wettability of the two spray adjuvant was tested.And the morphological characteristics of two spray adjuvant on leaves surface was observed.Analyze and examine the effect on the spray droplet deposition of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV).Meanwhile,the influences of pesticides mixded with adjuvant under light was explored.The result is as follows:1.Development of pinolene spray adjuvant.By screening suitable solvents and emulsifiers,the formulations of spray adjuvant were determined as follows: pinolene 50%,terpene resin 1%,turpentine 19%,butyl alcohol 20%,surfactant 10%.The effective content of pinolene,emulsion stability,stability by heating storage,stability by low temperature and other quality indicators have reached the requirements.2.Determination of physicochemical properties of pinolene spray adjuvant.The addition of PA and VG can reduce the surface tension of the solution.Compared with distilled water,adding 0.1% VG,the surface tension decreased by 61.0% and 60.0% respectively.The static contact angles of droplets on leaf of Photinia × fraseri and Carya cathayensis declined significantly with adding each pinolene spray adjuvant.Furthermore,effect of PA was more significant.When 1% PA is added,it can be completely spread on the two leaves.This shows that both PA and VG have good spreading wettability,and the PA effect is more excellent.3.Characterization of the film-forming properties of pinolene spray adjuvant on leaves.Scanning electron microscopy observations showed that both PA and VG can cover the film formation on leaves of Photinia × fraseri and Carya cathayensis.Among them,PA had more uniform film formation than VG.Both adjuvants can be effectively compatible with different pesticide formulations of difenoconazole WG,beta-cypermethrin WP and tebuconazole EC.The film can wrap drug particles and adhere to the leaf surface.4.To study the effect of pinolene spray adjuvant on the spray droplet deposition performance of unmanned aerial vehicle.Deposit Scan software was used to analyze droplets collected by water sensitive paper,and the deposition amount of indicator was detected by ultraviolet spectrophotometer.The results show that the addition of 0.1% PA can significantly increase the relative span of the droplets,thereby increasing the droplet coverage rate by 35.6% and the deposition by 28.8%.Although the effect of PA does not reach the level of the low volume special spray adjuvant Hongyuyan,it is better than VG and the dosage is low.5.To study the effect of pinolene spray adjuvant on the anti-photolysis ability of pesticides.The retention of emamectin benzoate after photolysis was detected by high-performance liquid chromatography.After 8 hours of illumination,the retention of emamectin benzoate with 0.5% PA and 0.5% VG reached 57.2% and 47.9%,while the control only had 30.7% left.Measure the insecticidal activity of the sprayed leaves after photolysis.After 3 days of light and beyond,the bioassay effect of the treatment with 0.5% PA and 0.5% VG is better than that of the control group.It shows that both PA and VG can effectively resist the light,slow down the photolysis rate of the drug,and thus prolong the drug's sustained effect.The performance of pinolene spray adjuvant PA has reached or even surpassed that of similar foreign products VG.PA can promote the deposition of droplets,thereby helping liquid spread and wet on the leaf surface.Dry film can reduce the photodegradation of the active ingredients and extend the duration of the effect.Adding pinolene spray adjuvant to pesticide spray liquid can systematically improve the utilization rate of pesticides,which is in line with the direction of pesticide reduction and efficiency enhancement.
