Polymer microsphere is a kind of functional polymer material,its unique structure and size make it have a large specific surface area.There are many preparation methods of microspheres,most of which require stabilizer and emulsifier.With the development of technology,some technologies without emulsifier or stabilizer have emerged,such as soap-free emulsion polymerization.However,the polymerization speed of such technologies is slow and the stability of emulsion is poor,so it is not suitable for industrial promotion.In this project,functional polymer microspheres containing epoxy groups were prepared by combining uv curing technology and suspension polymerization technology,and the surface of epoxy microspheres was modified.The whole preparation process of microspheres has many advantages,including simple reaction system,low reaction energy consumption,fast heat dissipation,continuous production,easy operation.strong controllability,solvent recycling and so on.The main tasks are as follows:In the first part,we designed a simple method and device for preparing polymer microspheres.By combining suspension polymerization with continuous photopolymerization technology,we avoided the use of stabilizer when preparing microspheres by suspension polymerization reaction,and mass production could be realized through tubular flow reactor.Monomer containing epoxy groups choose methyl glycidyl ester of acrylic acid,crosslinking agent divinyl benzene,study different experimental parameters influence on microspheres particle size and morphology,including shear rate,the content of crosslinking agent,initiator concentration,light intensity.the ratio of solvent and illumination time on microspheres particle size,morphology,and the influence of the yield.According to the optical microscope photos of the microspheres,the average particle size of the microspheres was statistically analyzed and the morphology of the microspheres was observed.The yield of the microspheres was analyzed by analyzing the mass of the microspheres.The epoxy groups of the microspheres were characterized by ir,the heat resistance of the microspheres was tested by thermogravimetric analyzer,and the content of the epoxy groups on the surface of the microspheres was determined by hydrochloric acid acetone method.Monomer containing epoxy groups in the second part,the choice of methyl acrylic glycidyl ester,choose crosslinking agent glycol dimethyl acrylate,study different experimental parameters influence on microspheres particle size and morphology,including shear rate,the content of crosslinking agent,initiator concentration,light intensity,the ratio of solvent and illumination time on microspheres particle size,morphology,and the influence of the yield.According to the optical microscope photos of the microspheres,the average particle size of the microspheres was statistically analyzed and the morphology of the microspheres was observed.The yield of the microspheres was analyzed by analyzing the mass of the microspheres.The epoxy groups of the microspheres were characterized by ir,the heat resistance of the microspheres was tested by thermogravimetric analyzer,and the content of the epoxy groups on the surface of the microspheres was determined by hydrochloric acid acetone method.Ethylenediamine was used to react with the epoxy group on the surface of the microsphere,and the amino group on the surface of the microsphere was determined by infrared spectroscopy.
