Stainless steel is one of the greatest invention of metallic materials at the beginning of twentieth century.In recent years,with the rapid development of China's steel industry,the raw materials(mainly nickel resources)of stainless steel production have become more and more nervous.Compared with the largest amount of Cr-Ni austenitic stainless steel,ferritic stainless steel contains nickel free or only contains a small amount of nickel,which is a kind of nickel saving stainless steel.To expand the production and application of modern ferritic stainless steel has become the main direction of Chinese nickel saving stainless steel.SUS430 stainless steel,also called 1Cr17 stainless steel,which belongs to the nickel saving ferrite stainless steel.Because of its cost and corrosion resistance,430 stainless steel is widely used in all aspects of people's daily life,but it has the disadvantage of high ductile brittle transition temperature and low toughness at room temperature.What's more,in the hot rolling,cooling and annealing process,the oxidation products form on the surface of workpiece,which aggravates the burden of pickling.In order to solve these problems,this paper intends to study the effect of heat treatment of 430 ferrite stainless steel on mechanical property and pickling impact.The study found that for SUS430 stainless steel produced by cold strip annealing and pickling line,when heat preservation time is 50 seconds,if its final annealing temperature does not reach 890?,grain recovery and recrystallization is not complete after rolling deformation,at the same time,yield strength,tensile strength,elongation and hardness is not very ideal,which has the adverse effects of the following processing(especially for stamping process).If annealing temperature reaches 930?in the production of SUS430 steel strip,mechanical property can not be obtained ideally.Because the steel strip's microstructure produces a martensitic transformation,the yield strength,tensile strength and hardness is increased and elongation ratio is decreased.Martensite has a large influence on the subsequent processing.It is difficult to use heat treatment to remove,which greatly increases the cost of production.For SUS430 stainless steel produced by cold strip annealing and pickling line,if its final annealing temperature does not reach 870? or annealing is uneven,it is very limited to improve the surface quality of the strip by increasing current values of pickling EP01 and EP02 alone.It can not obtain the good strip surface,but increase the energy consumption and shorten the electrode plate usage life.If its annealing temperature reaches 870? and annealing evenly,SUS430 strip can obtain the good strip surface quality by using a smaller current value of pickling EP01 and EP02 alone.
