This paper tries to study on the influence of hu-customs(exotics from northwest)popular of the Tang Dynasty dietary culture: ingredients introduced from abroad,food processing technology,hu-cake and finished food and drink of hu-customs,exotic elements reflected in eating utensils,and banquet gatherings foreign customs in China and the spread of hu-cake business.The main communicators and practitioners include members of the imperial family in China,general officials,local people,envoy,foreign vendors,foreign monks,women who entered the Tang Dynasty from outside the region.Its influence is reflected in the regional penetration.In the early stage,it basically continued the propagation process of the Silk Road from west to east on the landing,with Changan as the center.Later,with the rise of the Maritime Silk Road trade,Yangzhou,Guangzhou,Changsha and other cities rose up,and its influence further radiates to neighboring Asian countries.Its influence is reflected in the development of the time period,From the concentrated introduction of foreign dietary raw materials in the early Tang Dynasty,to the grand scene of " Upper-class persons' daily diet is all exotic diet " during the first year of Kaiyuan,to the question of hu-customs in the society after the Anshi chaos The old scenery of the past is no longer seen.The existing finished hu-customs diet has turned to localization and daily development.The scholars' focus has gradually turned to the description of the southern diet.The hu-customs diet's humor and development momentum have weakened.In addition to the historical materials recorded in the reference materials used,special attention is paid to collating and verifying the materials in the legendary novels of the Tang Dynasty,and Archaeologically unearthed Tang Dynasty food,eating utensils,tomb murals and related research results,and then launched a series of inductive demonstrations and comparative studies,hoping to be able to fully discuss the characteristics of foreign characteristics in the Tang Dynasty's dietary life,so as to Provide more perspectives for cultural exchanges between China and the West.
