with the development of economy and the progress of science and technology,energy utilization and ecological protection have become two important topics.the energy loss caused by friction accounts for more than 30%~50% of the total energy loss.The main reason for the loss of working performance is friction and wear caused by the contact between the operating surfaces of mechanical equipment.It is estimated that nearly one third of the total fuel energy consumed is used to overcome friction and other mechanical and hydrodynamic losses of engines,transmissions,tires and brakes.The chemical stability and high thermal stability of ionic liquids meet the requirements of lubricating oil additives.Synthesis and characterization of tetrabutyl-ammonium phosphate,1,1,3,3-tetramethylguanidine-phosphate,triethylbenzyl-dodecanoic acid,tetramethyl-dodecanedioic acid,tetrabutyl-dodecanoic acid,1-menthyl acetate-3-N-methylimidazole-bis(salicylato)-borate,1-menthyl acetate-3-N-butylimidazole-bis(salicylato)-borate,1-Ethyl-3-N-butylimidazole-bis(salicylato)-borate,1-ethyl hydroxyl-3-N-butylimidazole-bis(salicylato)-borate,1-menthyl acetate-3-N-butylimidazole-bis(methy-salicylato)-borate ten ionic liquid lubricating oil additives and added to two lubricating oils GTL430 and 500 N were used to test the tribological properties,viscosity,thermal stability and corrosion experiments of copper sheets with different added concentrations.The tribological properties of the four-ball friction machine were measured according to conditions of 75±2?,pressure of 147 N,long grinding time of 3600 s,spindle speed of 1200r/min.the corrosion experiments h additives were measured at 120? and time 3h to measure the corrosion degree of additives to friction pairs.Compared with the base oil,the wear spot formed by the synthetic ionic liquid additive decreased 49.20%,and the friction coefficient decreased 42.73%.the synthetic ionic liquid additive reduced the abrasive spots in the GTL430 base oil by 47.90% compared with the base oil,and in the 500 N base oil by 49.20%;the friction coefficient decreased by 42.73% in the GTL430 base oil compared with the base oil at most most,and by 42.73% in the 500 N base oil;the copper sheet corrosion of the additive was the least and the most serious 1b and 3b,but the additive relative to halogen and sulfur was still relatively small.
