The antifouling resins currently studied are mostly solvent-based,which is harmful to human health and the environment.Water-based antifouling resin with good antifouling performance,environmental protection and good comprehensive performance has become an urgent need.Water-based polyacrylic resin has good film forming,gloss,color retention,weather resistance,corrosion resistance and other properties.POSS has a special cage structure with good hydrophobic properties,low surface properties,thermal stability,etc..Organic fluorine has good hydrophobicity,oleophobicity,corrosion resistance,thermal stability and other properties.Organic silicon polymer,Si O2sol and other materials have rich Si-O-Si inorganic structure with good thermal stability,high hardness and weather resistance features.Mixing POSS,organofluorine,organosiloxane,Si O2sol and water-based acrylic resin together is probably to obtain an antifouling resin with good comprehensive performance.This article mainly conducts research from the following aspects.?1?Using free-radical solution polymerization method,isopropyl alcohol and propylene glycol methyl ether as solvents and azobisisobutyronitrile?AIBN?as an initiator,a waterborne MAPOSS modified polyacrylate polymer MAPOSS-PA was prepared.The synthesis process and synthesis principle were investigated,and the effects of the types and amount of hydrophilic monomers,neutralizing agent,and the amount of IBOMA on the stability of the resin were studied.The results show that the introduction of IBOMA can enhance the compatibility of MAPOSS and acrylic copolymre.The hydrophilic monomer DMAEMA has stronger water dispersibility than AA.The optimized conditions are 8%DMAEMA,5%HEMA,and 8%of neutralization degree.Using infrared spectroscopy?FTIR?,nuclear magnetic resonance?1H-NMR?,transmission electron microscope?TEM?,atomic force microscope?AFM?,scanning electron microscope?SEM?,differential scanning calorimetry?DSC?,X-ray photoelectron energy Spectral analysis?XPS?and thermal weight loss analysis?TGA?characterize the polymer.The results showed that MAPOSS was successfully introduced into the waterborne polyacrylate copolymer.The segment containing MAPOSS will tend to migrate and enrich on the surface of the coating film to form an antifouling structure layer,and MAPOSS can improve the thermal stability of the resin.?2?On the basis of the above,a fluorine-containing monomer FMA was further added to enhance the anti-oil pollution of the coating film.A stable MAPOSS/FMA modified waterborne polyacrylate antifouling resin was prepared.The effect of the preparation process on the structure and performance of the antifouling resin was investigated.According to the FTIR spectrum,FMA and MAPOSS were successfully grafted into waterborne polyacrylate copolymer.XPS analysis of the resin coating film shows that the segment containing FMA and the segment containing MAPOSS tend to migrate to the surface of the coating film and form a layer of anti-fouling structure.?3?The contact angle and surface energy of the MAPOSS modified polyacrylate resin,the FMA modified polyacrylate resin,the FMA/MAPOSS modified acrylate resin were compared.The results show that with increasing the content of FMA monomer and MAPOSS monomer in the polymer,the contact angle is also increasing,.The contact angle can reach up to 112.0°(?water),47.2°(?n-hexadecane).The contact angle of FMA/MAPOSS modified polymer has a larger contact angle than the FMA or MAPOSS modified polymers.The synergistic effect of fluorine and silicon can significantly improve the hydrophobicity and oleophobicity of the coating film.The anti-fouling coating film can effectively resist the pollution of stains in life.A marker can only leave shrinkage and discontinuous marks on the anti-fouling coating film,which can be cleaned up completely after a simple wipe.A series of performance tests were done and the results show that the coating film has a hardness of 4H,a adhesion of 0 degree,a bending resistance of 2mm degree,an impact resistance of 50 kg.cm,and can withstand boiling water for more than 2 h.These indicate that it has good corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
