Glass-ceramics are typical brittle and difficult to process materials.The traditional processing methods can not meet the demand of ultra-precision machining of glass-ceramics.In this paper,by comparing the grinding surface quality of SDC and CBN,the ultra-precision grinding technology of glass ceramic sheet is studied.Firstly,through a single indentation experiment,the indentation morphology and the appearance and propagation of the crack are analyzed,the critical load value of the crack is obtained,and the vickers hardness,fracture toughness and minimum cutting thickness of the brittle material are calculated.The fatigue indentation experiment is carried out on the brittle materials,and it is concluded from the experiment that the surface of the processed materials would also crack under a small load when a certain cycle of action is reached.The relationship between critical load and fatigue cycle times is obtained from the experimental results and the corresponding function images are drawn.Secondly,by comparing the same conditions of SDC and CBN grinding rod grinding experimental results of single factor,choose reasonable tool and machining parameters,at the same time using the linear regression equation analysis of the influence of different grinding parameters on surface roughness Ra,it is concluded that different grinding parameters on surface roughness Ra of the priority of the influence degree;The influence of different grinding parameters on the surface roughness Ra in single factor experiment is verified by the orthogonal experiment range analysis.The optimum grinding parameter combination is obtained from the orthogonal experiment results,which lay the foundation for the subsequent parts.The different wear conditions of CBN tool before and after machining and the wear contrast of CBN tool and SDC tool are compared.Finally,the glass-ceramic sheet parts are processed,and the size and processing accuracy are tested,the rationality of the processing technology is verified,the problems in grinding are summarized,and reasonable solutions are proposed.
