Polymer materials are increasingly used in daily life and industrial and agricultural production.However,ordinary polymer materials are generally prone to burning and will release a lot of toxic and harmful fumes when burned,which is a hazard to the safety of people’s lives and property.Adding a high-efficiency flame retardant to a polymer is a simple method for reducing flammability of polymer materials.Among various flame retardants,the two-dimensional sheet structure material has been a hot topic of research because of its sheet barrier effect.(1)ZHS@Mg-Al-LDH and ZHS@α-ZrP hybrid materials was prepared by electrostatically loading zinc stannate(ZHS)on the surface of magnesium aluminum layered double hydroxide(Mg-Al-LDH)andα-zirconium phosphate(α-ZrP),respectively.Its effect on epoxy resin(EP)flame retardant smoke suppression performance was explored.Subsequently,ZHS@Mg-Al-LDH and ZHS@α-ZrP were added to EP to explore its flame retardant and smoke suppression effects on EP.The results showed that,compared with pure EP,the LOI of the ZHS@Mg-Al-LDH/EP and ZHS@α-ZrP/EP composites has been effectively improved,and the peak heat release rate(PHRR),total heat release amount(THR)and peak smoke release rate(SPR)have all dropped significantly.ZHS@Mg-Al-LDH and ZHS@α-ZrP showed good flame retardant and smoke suppression properties.(2)Three kinds of nanomaterials such as zinc-ZIF,cobalt-ZIF and zinc&cobalt hybrid ZIF were prepared in a green and environmentally friendly way.For the first time,the leaf-shaped zinc ZIF,cobalt ZIF and zinc&cobalt hybrid ZIF were added to polyurethane elastomer(TPU)to study and compare the effects of three ZIF nanosheets on the flame retardant and smoke suppression properties of TPU composites.The combustion test results show that all three nanomaterials exhibit good flame retardant and smoke suppression properties.In addition,through XRD and TG-IR analysis of the composite material residual char,the specific flame retardant smoke suppression mechanism was explored.(3)A multifunctional two-dimensional layered g-C3N4 nano-hybrid material was prepared by loadingβ-Ni(OH)2 and ZHS on g-C3N4 nanosheets through electrostatic action,which was used to reduce the fire risk of EP composites Sex.XRD,FTIR and SEM results confirmed the successful preparation of nano-hybrid materials.Further analysis of the influence of hybrids on the fire hazard of EP composites shows that the combination of g-C3N4,β-Ni(OH)2 and ZHS shows better flame retardant and smoke suppression performance than single nano-components.Compared with pure EP,the PHRR and THR of g-C3N4/β-Ni(OH)2/ZHS EP composites are significantly reduced;at the same time,the toxic smoke during the combustion process is also suppressed.Finally,a possible mechanism for reducing the fire hazard of EP nanocomposites is proposed.Figure[36]table[10]reference[92]... |
