In today’s industrial steelmaking process,electric arc furnaces are becoming more and more popular.The electrode controller of the electric arc furnace is the most core part of the industrial steelmaking process,and the effective electrode controller can improve the productivity of the electric arc furnace,reduce the electrode consumption and output time.It is very necessary to study a new electrode control algorithm.In this design,the electrode regulator of electric arc furnace is taken as the research object,and the impedance model,power supply system model,hydraulic system model and electrode regulation system model of electric arc furnace are established.The nonlinear curve between arc current and arc length is obtained through the simulation of Simulink.Then the curve is fitted by the least square method,and the relationship expression between arc current and arc length is obtained,Finally,according to the actual operation parameters,the specific transfer functions of the proportional valve and hydraulic cylinder in the hydraulic control system are given.In order to be as similar as possible to the actual work of the electric arc furnace,white noise and interference are added in the simulation process to simulate the time-varying and randomness of the electric arc,so as to better establish the electric arc furnace model.On the basis of the AC EAF model,the control algorithms of many electrode regulating systems are understood,and the advantages and disadvantages of these algorithms are analyzed.For the nonlinear time-varying EAF,the overall control effect is not particularly ideal.For this complex time-varying system,a genetic fuzzy logic controller(GFLC)algorithm is proposed for electrode control,which is a two-layer iterative evolutionary algorithm using genetic algorithm.A new coding method is designed to overcome the problem of non-linear control and make the control performance more efficient.compared with the traditional PID control algorithm,GFLC can quickly control the electrode adjustment parameters in real time by selecting logic rules and adjusting membership functions,so as to save electric energy and improve steelmaking efficiency.Under the background of 120 tons electric arc furnace in a steel plant,this paper adopts the PLC of Siemens S7-1500 series to design the computer control system of electric arc furnace,thus realizing the whole process of electric arc furnace steelmaking.This paper analyzes each function module of EAF,uses TIA software to control the PLC program of EAF,and then uses WinCC to edit the upper computer interface.It is not a long-term solution for the staff to operate on the spot in a bad steel-making environment.Adapting remote monitoring system,which is based on WEB,the staff can monitor the steel-making process simultanously without on-site,thus achieving to be artificial intelligence.For example,when various faults such as electrode short circuit occur during steelmaking,remote monitoring system will prompt alarm information,so that the staff can quickly control the emergency.
