Up to now,there have been many incidents about mineral oil contaminated foods worldwidely,such as edible oils,rice and chocolates.In this paper,milk powders were used as the research materials.An analytical method for the analysis of mineral oil and migration contamination in milk powder was established,and the extraction method of MOH in coffee powder and cocoa powder was determined.To investigate the contamination route,50 commercial milk powder samples,10 coffee powder samples and 5 cocoa powder samples were analyzed.The obtained results are as follows:(1)An analysis method for migration pollution in milk powder was established,and the MOH contamination in 50 commercial milk powder was analyzed.The results indicated no surface MOAH was not detected in all the samples,while 33 samples contained MOSH/POSH with surface contents of 0.10?5.09mg/kg.Analysis of migration contamination in milk powder found that packaging materials,fat content,and storage time were related to the content of MOSH/POSH.Metal canned infant formula powder had the lowest MOSH content,and fat amounts were positively correlated with the migration pollution of MOSH/POSH.Paper canned milk powder has the most average migration during long-term storage.(2)An analysis method for mineral oil contamination in milk powder was established,and the mineral oil contamination of 20 milk powder samples stored in glass bottles and original packaging was determined.The results showed that milk powder in glass bottles and original packaging only detected MOSH/POSH,with the content ranges from 0.91 to 7.45 mg/kg and 0.83 to 8.19 mg/kg,respectively.The study found that,with the exception of metal cans,the mineral oil contamination of milk powder in the original packaging was higher than that of glass bottles.(3)Coffee powder and cocoa powder are determined to be extracted by soaking in n-hexane.The study found that 9 coffee powders samples and 4 cocoa powder samples contained MOSH/POSH with contamination value of 0.55?5.12mg/kg and 0.34?16.61mg/kg,respectively.MOAH was detected in two of the alkalized cocoa powder samples at levels of 0.29mg/kg and0.54mg/kg,and the pollution of MOSH/POSH and MOAH in the alkalized cocoa powder exceeded that of the natural cocoa powder.
