Hazardous chemicals are usually flammable, explosive, and toxic. There is a risk of leakage of hazardous chemicals during production, storage and transportation.Due to the hidden dangers of poor ventilation in restricted spaces such as tunnels and subways,if hazardous chemicals are not handled in a timely and effective manner,it is easy to cause problems such as personnel poisoning and environmental pollution.Aiming at this problem, this paper designs an emergency treatment device for leakage of hazardous chemicals. The decontamination performance of the device is studied through theoretical derivation and experimental testing. The main research contents are as follows:1.Establishing the model of liquid carrying capacity and ethanol-water absorption. The relationship between the volume of liquid in the Venturi scrubber and the relative static pressure of the throat, the height difference, the liquid-gas ratio and the cross-sectional area of the annular suction gap are derived. The formulas of the gas concentration and liquid-gas ratio of the venturi outlet and the initial intake concentration are obtained.2.Establishing the experimental device.Design self-priming Venturi scrubber purification experiment, atomization rate measurement experiment and atomization droplet diameter measurement experiment.Optimize important processing parts such as separators, liquid film collection devices, baffles, etc. The experimental error is below 6%.3.Experimental studies on atomization rate, liquid volume and atomized droplet diameter under different working conditions and structural improvements have been carried out.The results show that the atomization rate is close to 100%when the throat gas velocity is 38.5 m/s.As the gas velocity at the throat increases, the atomization rate decreases. The increase of liquid level difference can promote the atomization rate.Increasing the width of the baffle can effectively improve the atomization rate of the liquid phase;the amount of liquid is coupled by factors such as the gas velocity of the throat, the height difference of the liquid level, and the flow resistance;the average of Venturi atomized droplets is measured by the software Image-Pro Plus 6.0 diameter. The diameter of the atomized droplets decreases as the gas velocity at the throat increases. As the gas velocity of the throat increases, the effect of the liquid level difference on the diameter of the atomized droplet gradually becomes more obvious.4.The experimental study on the decontamination effect of Venturi showed that the increase of the atomization rate and the amount of liquid can effectively improve the decontamination performance of Venturi. As the gas velocity of the throat increases, the volume of liquid increases and the atomization rate decreases. There is an optimal balance between the two, which improves the decontamination efficiency and reduces the waste of energy. The diameter of the atomized droplets is affected by changing the relative surface area of the droplets.5.The structure of the Venturi scrubber was improved.By comparing the experimental data with the theoretical calculation results, the correctness of the decontamination model was verified. The results show that the addition of baffles can improve the decontamination performance of the Venturi tube to a certain extent, but the width of the baffle is too large, which has a great barrier to the liquid in the Venturi tube. The difference between the maximum decontamination efficiency of the baffle A3 and the theoretically calculated value is 6.1%.
