Thermoplastic polyetherester elastomer(TPEE)has high strength,good abrasion resistance and electrical insulation properties.It is one of the hot spots of wire and cable materials at present.However,TPEE generally has higher hardness,poor hydrolysis resistance,and does not have flame retardant properties,and the cost is relatively high.Hydrogenated styrene-isoprene-styrene(SEPS)has high flexibility,good thermal stability,hydrolysis resistance and lower cost.Taking into account the excellent performance of both to prepare TPEE/SEPS alloy,and then flame-retardant modification,to prepare halogen-free flame-retardant TPEE/SEPS blended materials,which is active for expanding the application of TPEE in the field of wire and cable materials Meaning.The main work is as follows:Firstly,the effects of the amount of SEPS,the type of filling oil and the amount of filling oil on the properties of TPEE/SEPS alloy were studied.The results show that when the amount of SEPS increases,the strength of the blended material decreases,the toughness increases,and the crystallinity decreases;The mechanical properties and thermal stability of the paraffin oil 2058 blending system are the best in the four filler oils;The filler oil increases and the system stretches When the strength decreases,the elongation at break increases first and then decreases,and the fluidity improves.When TPEE/SEPS is 85/15 and paraff-in oil 2058/SEPS is 1:1,the overall performance of TPEE/SEPS alloy is the best.Secondly,based on the previous experiments,the three compatibilizers SEBS-g-MAH,SEBS-g-GMA,and PTW were used to compatibilize and modify TPEE/SEPS.All three compatibilizers improved the mechanical properties of the alloy.Increased,the mechanical properties of the alloy with PTW increased the most.When the amount of PTW is 3wt%,the maximum tensile strength is 28.09MPa,and the elongation at break reaches a peak value of 496%.When the dosage is 2wt%,the maximum bending strength is 10.55MPa,an increase of 22.8%;the three compatibilizers all reduce the alloy's melt index;the addition of SEBS-g-MAH reduces the alloy's crystallization temperature and crystallinity;The addition of SEBS-g-GMA increases the crystallization temperature of the alloy,and the crystallinity reaches the effect of heterogeneous nucleation;the addition of PTW reduces the crystallization temperature of the alloy and the crystallinity.The three compatibilizers all improve the thermal stability and hydrolysis resistance of TPEE/SEPS alloys.Finally,the flame retardancy of TPEE/SEPS alloy with melamine urate(MCA)and diethyl hypophosphonate(ADP)was studied.The results showed that the combination of MCA and ADP had synergistic flame retardancy.When the content of MCA/ADP is 30wt%,the ratio of MCA/ADP is 2:1,the tensile strength of TPEE/SEPS alloy is 20.17MPa,the elongation at break is 398%,the bending strength is 9.44MPa,the LOI rises to 29.3%,and the vertical combustion grade reaches V-0.
