Objective: Curcuma essential oil has anti-inflammatory,analgesic,and antitumor effects.However,Curcuma essential oil is mainly used clinically,and the compound essential oil for external use is relatively few.In this article,Curcuma essential oil was used as the main functional ingredient to make a green and healthy compound essential oil for external skin to play an anti-inflammatory and bactericidal effects.Using the theory of traditional Chinese medicine and considering the compatibility of drugs,selected a variety of essential oils with anti-inflammatory effects to improve the anti-inflammatory effect and applicability of essential oils,reduce the irritation of essential oils,and make the formula mild and safety.And provide research ideas for the application and development of plant essential oils in the daily chemical industry.The research methods and results are as follows:(1)The volatile oil was extracted from Curcuma kwangsiensis S.G.Lee et C.F.Liang by steam distillation.On the basis of the single factors investigation,and than through orthogonal experiments to tested the effects of soaking time,particle size,material-liquid ratio,extraction time,and extraction temperature influenced on oil yield.The results show that the extraction rate is less affected by the soaking time,and the other factors are affected by temperature?extraction time?material-liquid ratio?particle size.Finally,the best extraction process for extracting Curcuma essential oil by steam distillation was as follows: the color and odor of the volatile oil obtained after extraction through a 30-mesh sieve,ratio of drug to solvent1?8,and 120? for 6 hours were the best,and the maximum extraction ratewas 2.2%.(2)Through gas chromatography-msass spectrometry(GC-MS)analysis,55 components were identified in the Curcuma essential oil,among which the characteristic components ?-elemene and gimarone in the Curcuma essential oil were detected,but other characteristic ingredients such as curcumol and curdione were not detected.(3)Through searching the literature,a total of 38 essential oils were selected in the experiment,which have some bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effects.Firstly through the filter paper method to tested the antibacterial effect of each essential oil on Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans,and then the proportion of several essential oils with the best antibacterial effect was determined by response surface design.Finally,through the auricle swelling induced by xylene in mouse to tested the anti-inflammatory effect and the hot-plate method to tested the analgesic effect to determine the proportion of single essential oil.Based on the determination of the proportion of the single essential oil,through comprehensive evaluation of appearance,antibacterial,anti-inflammatory and analgesic tests to determine a suitable base oil.Finally,the proportion of composite essential oils was determined: the base oil was camellia oil 87%,and other essential oils were 6% of Curcuma essential oil,2% of Melissa officinalis oil,1% of thyme,1% of Origanum marjoram oil,1% of Mentha longifolia(Linn.)Huds.oil,1% of Pelargonium graveolens L'Herit oil,and1% of Salvia japonica Thunb.oil.The compound essential oil has a fragrant and pale yellow odor,and has good bacteriostatic effect on both bacteria.The analgesic effect is 78.49%,and the anti-inflammatory effect is 93.53%.(4)Through a itch test of guinea pig skin caused by histamine phosphate to test the antipruritic effect of the compound essential oil,and the results showed that the compound essential oil had some antipruritic effect,but the antipruritic effect was average.Test the antioxidant effect of1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH),hydroxyl radicals,and total antioxidant capacity.The compound essential oil has a good antioxidanteffect,and its antioxidant capacity is stronger than VE.When the sample concentration is 20 g / L,the essential oil has a 92.07% clearance rate for DPPH and a 100% clearance rate for hydroxyl radical.(5)Through the skin efficacy test,compound essential oil can obviously reduce skin redness and swelling.application the essential oil for90 min,the heme level of the skin returned to the level before the experiment.It is concluded that the prepared essential oil has in addition to having antibacterial,anti-inflammatory,analgesic effects,and also has a good antipruritic effect,and has a better effect of antioxidation,reducing redness,swelling.(6)Through the acute skin irritation test,hen`s egg test on the chorioallantoic membrane on this product.The score of the acute skin irritation test was less than 1.Each chicken embryo did not show a lot of bleeding,vascular lysis and coagulation.The score was less than 1.The subjects in the repeated open application test of the human body did not have any skin reaction.which indicates that this formula of the compound essential oil is less irritating,moderately safety and suitable for people to use.Conclusion: The compound essential oil has a fragrant and light yellow odor.It has good antibacterial,anti-inflammatory,analgesic,anti-oxidant,and redness-reducing effects on the skin.It also has some antipruritic effect.The formula is mild,low irritation,and wide applicability.
