The evaluation of the effectiveness of protected areas plays an important role in wetland protection and can provide an important scientific basis for the protection and management of wetland resources.The landscape pattern index is an important indicator that can effectively reflect the wetland landscape.In this paper,based on the extraction results of land use classification information from remote sensing images and field investigations,we conducted a study on the spatial and temporal changes of the wetland landscape pattern in the Minjiang River Estuary.Five landscape indicators were selected: patch density(PD),maximum patch index(LPI),average patch area(AREA_MIN),edge density(ED),and landscape shape index(LSI)to construct a protected area for wetland protection Effectiveness evaluation index system.By calculating the index weight value through the information entropy model,the comprehensive scores of the wetland protection effectiveness evaluation in the study area in 2008,2011,2014,2016 and 2018 were obtained,and the driving mechanism of the change in protection effectiveness was analyzed.The spatial and temporal changes of land use indicate that between2008 and 2018,the entropy of land use information gradually decreased,and the landscape pattern of the study area became more balanced.Themutual conversion between the types is: the area of cultivated land transferred is 520.6m2,and the ratio to the total area of cultivated land is10.98%.The area of forest land transfer is 463.4m2,and the ratio to the total area of forest land is 10.73%.The area in which the breeding pond is transferred is 44.8m2,and the ratio to the total area of the breeding pond is 3.81%.The transfer rate of vegetation tidal flat is the highest,the area of transfer is 248.4m2,and the ratio to the total area of vegetation tidal flat is 37.49%.The results of the analysis of the changes in the wetland landscape pattern show that during the period 2008-2018,the PD and DIVISION indexes of aquaculture ponds and vegetation tidal flat types have gradually increased,while the LPI has decreased year by year.This indicates that patches of aquaculture ponds and vegetation tidal flats are increasingly fragmented.Both the LSI and ED index values of the types of breeding ponds and vegetation tidal flats increased.It shows that the shape of each wetland type in the reserve is relatively regular and has little change.The index values of PD and DIVISION in the study area showed a gradual decrease from 2008 to 2018,while the index values of ED,LSI and PAFRAC in the study area showed a gradual increase,and the value of the CONTAG index showed a gradual decrease.Combined with the change of SHDI and SHEI index values,the patch area uniformity of land use types in the study area is gradually decreasing,andat the same time the patches are becoming more and more complete.The analysis results of the effectiveness evaluation of the Minjiang Estuary wetland protection show that from 2008 to 2018,the protection effectiveness evaluation scores of Minjiang Estuary Wetland Nature Reserve continued to increase by 26.63,27.11,28.93,29.96,31.13,an increase of 16.91%.It can be explained that the management of wetland protection areas has achieved certain results,and the overall effectiveness evaluation score shows an upward trend.This shows that the treatment measures for the Minjiang River Estuary Wetland Nature Reserve are effective,but it is still necessary to continue to maintain efficient protection and treatment of the wetlands.The main driving mechanism for studying changes in regional protection effectiveness scores is the result of the interaction of climatic conditions,hydrological conditions,vegetation succession,human activities,and policy orientation.Based on effectiveness evaluation and driving factor analysis,this paper proposes measures aimed at improving the effectiveness of wetland protection areas.
