Phenolic resin-based thermal insulation board is a new type of foam plastic thermal insulation material with low smoke,no water absorption,flame retardant,insulation,high temperature resistance,acid resistance,alkali resistance,and no deformation.It is the advantages of the material itself that have brought great difficulties to the dismantled waste recycling.Porous carbon materials are widely used for purifying air and water because of their huge specific surface area and super adsorption capacity.At the same time,because of their developed pore structure and strong chemical properties,they are used in the electrodes of electric double layer supercapacitor widely used in materials.Phenolic resin has a high carbon content.In this paper,the preparation of phenolic resin waste-based porous carbon is studied and its application and testing are performed.A porous carbon was prepared by using a phenolic resin-based exterior wall insulation board residue as a carbon source by a water vapor activation method.The process parameters that affect the preparation of phenolic resin-based porous carbon are temperature,activation time,and water vapor.The best preparation process for preparing phenolic resin-based porous carbon is: activation temperature 650 ?,constant temperature activation time 30 min,and water vapor flow rate 15 g,The adsorption capacity of methane blue,phenol,and ammonia nitrogen by the porous carbon obtained under the process conditions were 478.13 mg/g,748.33 mg/g,and 878.21 mg / g,respectively.Optimal conditions for porous carbon?AC?adsorption of phenol: the equilibrium concentration of phenol is 0.22 mg/m L,the adsorption temperature is 40?,the adsorption time is 90 minutes,the solution p H is 4,and the maximum value is 748.33 mg/g;The thermodynamic model for adsorption of phenol conforms to the Temkin adsorption equation,the adsorption kinetics model conforms to the intramolecular diffusion model,the adsorption activation energy is 11.42 k J/mol,?H is 15.761 k J/mol,and ?S is 141.7 J mol-1 K-1.The optimal conditions for porous carbon?AC?adsorption of ammonia nitrogen.The adsorption temperature is 15 ?,the p H is 5,the equilibrium concentration of ammonia nitrogen is 14 mg/m L,and the adsorption is 120 minutes.Under this condition,the adsorption amount is 878.21 mg/g;The thermodynamic model for the adsorption of ammonia nitrogen conforms to the Freundlich adsorption model,the adsorption kinetic model conforms to the quasi-first order kinetic model,the adsorption activation energy is 38.502 k J/mol,?H is-7.592 k J/mol,and ?S is-42.90 J mol-1K-1,which indicates that the adsorption of ammonia nitrogen by porous carbon is an exothermic process,no heating is required for adsorption,the degree of chaos in the adsorption process is reduced,and the solvent has no effect on the adsorption.Using specific capacitance and methylene blue adsorption values as indicators,boric acid-doped porous carbon is better by the high-temperature furnace method.The best process conditions are: boron-carbon mass ratio of 1:10,final pyrolysis temperature of 750 ?,and final temperature residence time of 1.5 h.The methylene blue adsorption capacity of boron-doped porous carbon prepared under this condition was 664 mg/g,and the maximum specific capacitance was 158.5 F/g.The size of the surface attachments of porous carbon treated with boric acid at high temperature was different.The content is different,indicating that the treatment of porous carbon with boric acid is doping;Boron is randomly distributed on the surface and between pores of the porous carbon,and there is also bonding with the surface carbon;the surface activity of the porous carbon is enhanced,the degree of graphitization is changed,and the electrochemical performance of the porous carbon is enhanced.The optimal conditions for the adsorption of Congo red by porous carbon?AC?and boric acid-doped porous carbon?BAC?are:The adsorption temperature is 20 ? and the adsorption time is 120 minutes.The initial concentration of Congo red is 0.55 mg/m L.At this time,the maximum adsorption capacity of multi-carbon?AC?is 42.43 mg/g,and the adsorption capacity of doped porous carbon BAC is 40.19 mg/g.
