In recent years,spiral bevel gears such as arc tooth bevel gears and hypoid gears have been widely used in the field of mechanical transmission for their advantages of large bearing capacity,stable transmission and low noise.The mechanical properties and surface quality of gears are increasingly demanded.The quality of gear surface directly affects the friction factor,meshing noise,fatigue strength and other performance of gears,even affects the service life and safety of gears.Because the geometric structure of the tooth surface of spiral gear is complex,milling with special milling cutter become the main processing method and the machined surface needs to be further improved.The deformation and wear at the contact part of the tool tip during milling process is closely related to the selection of process and the setting of cutting parameters.It is the superposition of deformation caused by various conditions,the thermal effect caused by the contact of tool tip.The choice of cutting speed,feed rate and cutting depth has a direct impact on the machining quality,accuracy and efficiency of the workpiece.Using DEFORM to simulate is an effective method to study the cutting parameters.Firstly,simulation model was established based on real milling and grouped according to the requirements of RSM.Then,the three parameters of cutting speed,feed rate and cutting depth were divided into 15 different combinations to simulate the three target factors of tip wear,tip temperature and workpiece temperature.Next,combining with RSM,based on the simulation results,the mathematical models of three objective factors were established.Finally,NSGA-II multi-objective genetic algorithm was used for optimization analysis,and optimized parameters were used for milling experiment and surface quality inspection of workpiece,and the optimized parameters were verified.The research on numerical simulation and regularity of gear milling for light vehicle is the supplement and upgrade of the experimental method.The research has important practical significance for improving the surface quality of gear milling.Figure 36;Table 13;Reference 62...
