In recent years, with the development of science and technology and the advancement of society, the needs for diversified materials have become more and more eagerly. As the third-generation supramolecular host compound, calixarene has the advantages of specific cavity and multiple modification. The use of calixarene skeleton units to construct conjugated organic polymer has attracted extensive attention in the fields of materials.Firstly, four kinds of amino-bridged calix[4]arene conjugated organic polymers(CaCOPs)were designed and synthesized. The structures of the calixarene polymers were characterized by solid nuclear magnetic and infrared spectroscopy. The results of elemental analysis indicate that these materials have more than 10% nitrogen content. The iodine adsorptions in water by CaCOPs were performed by using their nitrogen-rich electrons and hydrophobic cavities.Among them,CaCOP3 iodine uptake amounts reached up to 3.10 gg-1.XPS results show that there are physical and chemical interactions in the adsorption process, and the latter is more prominent, which depends mainly on the hydrophobic interaction of the calixarene polymer and the role of N...I bonds;then, the observations of iodine adsorption cycle performance of CaCOP3 indicate that it has a good performance.Secondly, the elemental palladium was loaded with two materials CaCOP2 and CaCOP4,which were applied to the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction. The results show that CaCOP2@Pd can be catalyzed at 25 °C,and the yield can reach more than 90%.Through the characterization and analysis of the experimental results,it was verified that the zero-valent palladium catalyzed during the reaction. The catalytic cycle of the CaCOP2 was carried out,it was found that the heterogeneous catalyst CaCOP2@Pd can be recycled 7 times and the yield of the product can still be maintained at a high level. This paper explores the application of CaCOPs materials and proves that which have certain application prospects in adsorption and load catalysis.
