The synthetic polymers containing sugar are a kind of polymer containing sugar group.They are not only used to explore the function of sugars in life activities,but also have great research value in biology,medicine,new materials and other fields.Although artificial glycopolymers with different sugar groups have been designed,the mechanism of recognition of heterosaccharides and polymer structures to protein specificity have not been clarified.Therefore,the novel glycopolymers containing the same(different)sugars are prepared by Cu AAC reaction and ring-opening metathesis polymerization,and their specific recognition with related proteins were studied.Provide a strong analytical proof for exploring the related mechanism of the binding of heterologous sugar to lectin.Preparation of glycopolymers containing homo(hetero)sugar units in side chains: Firstly,the same(different)glycomonomers were prepared by combining Cu AAC reaction with organic gradient.Then the glycomonomers were subjected to ROMP under the action of Grubbs 3rd generation catalyst and deprotection to obtain a series of glycopolymers.The gel permeation chromatography(GPC)showed that the glycopolymers with narrow molecular weight distribution width(1.04? PDI ? 1.21)and controllable side chain structure were prepared.Experimental results show that the prepared hetero saccharide glycopolymers with non-binding sugar unit have better binding ability to Con A than glycopolymers with other functional groups in the side chain.The polymers structure have a significant influence on the recognition of glycopolymers and Con A.Preparation of homo(hetero)glycopolymers without protective groups: Firstly,the different glycomonomers without protecting groups were prepared by Cu AAC reaction.A series of glycopolymers were obtained by ROMP of glycomonomers without protecting groups in anhydrous DMF solvent.The gel permeation chromatography(GPC)showed that the glycopolymers with narrow molecular weight distribution width(PDI ? 1.10)and controllable side chain structure were prepared.Experimental results show that the prepared glycopolymers containing ?-D-mannose units could be specifically recognized by Con A.Both ?-D-Gal sugar unit and ?-D-Glu sugar unit have a synergistic effect on ?-D-Man sugar unit,and the synergistic effect of ?-D-Gal sugar unit is stronger.
