The heating furnace is the important equipment in the heat treatment process of rolling steel.The control effect and automatic level of furnace temperature control are directly related to the quality and output of steel slab.The temperature control process of heating furnace is more complicated.The combustion process of gas in the heating furnace is affected by many external factors.Since the temperature control system of heating furnace has the characteristics of non-linearity,pure hysteresis,large inertia,and strong coupling,it is difficult to control the furnace temperature accurately and effectively using conventional control methods.Therefore,this paper proposes a control strategy combining fuzzy inference,RBF neural network,and PID regulators,and applies it to control the furnace temperature.Firstly,based on the detailed analysis of the principle of heating furnace,the fuzzy RBF neural network,which owns both fuzzy system inference ability and RBF neural network self-learning ability,is utilized to identify the parameters of PID regulator online.The simulation results show that the fuzzy RBF neural network based PID regulator proposed in this paper has the advantages of fast response,small overshoot and strong anti-interference ability compared with the conventional PID,fuzzy PID,and RBF neural network PID.Secondly,according to the requirements of the heat treatment process of rolling steel,we propose a series of design schemes for the subsystem of walking beam furnace.They are the flue and water-sealed tank detection system,the air and gas main pipeline detection control system,the upper soaking zone detection control system,the lower soaking zone detection control system,the third upper heating zone detection control system,the third lower heating section detection control system,the second upper heating section detection control system,the second lower heating section detection control system,the first upper heating section detection control system,the first lower heating section detection control system,the furnace bottom cooling water and nitrogen detection control system.And then,we also describe the software design process of heating furnace control system.The offline test shows show that the proposed system can meet the requirements of uniform heating steel billet on the production line,and is practical.
