Ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)is a material with a unique molecular structure,and its molecular weight can reach more than 1.5 million.It has excellent comprehensive properties such as abrasion resistance,chemical resistance and oxidation resistance compared with ordinary polyethylene.It is widely used in many fields including power,drainage,and chemical industry.The filter medium prepared by the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene material has a uniform microporous structure,chemical stability and excellent self-lubricity,and can be applied to filtration fields such as sewage treatment.Difficult to filter material composition is complex,solid particles are small,and has high viscosity and high dispersion.The filter cake layer will form during filtration.At the same time,the smaller particles in the difficult-to-filter material are also more likely to block the pores of the filter medium,so that the filtration flux Lowering eventually leads to the inability of the filtration separation process to proceed.In this study,a typical difficult-to-filter material in industrial production,calcium acetate suspension,which is widely used in industrial production,is usually prepared by reacting acetic acid with slaked lime,and the calcium acetate suspension formed has high impurity dispersion.The particles are small and the liquid phase is relatively sticky,which is a typical difficult filter material.Considering the complexity of the difficult-to-filter materials,simply performing terminal filtration does not meet the filtration requirements,and it is difficult to separate them.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the filtration process.This study used dynamic filtration techniques to enhance the filtration process.Dynamic filtration technology can use the shear force generated by the rotating element to enhance the turbulence,thereby limiting the formation and growth of the filter cake,which can significantly improve the filtration flux,improve the filtration effect,and complete the filtration and separation of difficult-to-filter materials..In this study,the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene filter medium prepared by the particle sintering method was used to carry out the research work of the intensive filtration process on the hard-filtered calcium acetate suspension using dynamic filtration technology.The study first characterized three ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene filter media,and carried out pore size measurement,electron microscopy analysis,and pure water flux test.The calcium acetate suspension used in the research was tested for physical properties such as turbidity,solid content,particle size distribution and viscosity temperature curve.On this basis,the self-made dynamic filter device was used to test the intensification filtration process.The effects of different operating pressures,rotation speed,solid content and operating temperature on the filtration process were investigated.The terminal filtration and dynamics were carried out.Comparative test for filtration.The results show that in the enhanced filtration process of calcium acetate solution,the filtration flux increases with the increase of the pore size of the filter medium,the increase of the filtration pressure,the increase of the temperature of the filter material,and the decrease of the solid content.As the rotational speed of the rotating element increases,the filtration flux increases first and then decreases.The interception effect during the test separation process is better,and the filtrate turbidity is below 30 NTU.In this study,ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene filter media was used to treat the intensive filtration process of difficult-to-filter materials to achieve the treatment effect,and effective filtration separation was achieved.It can be used as a reference for technical engineering application research and application for ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene filter materials.The treatment of difficult filter materials provides a new idea.
