With the rapidly development of automobile industry in China, the possession quantity of cars in china is quickly increasing. Therefore, the environmental pollution caused by motor vehicle exhaust is becoming increasingly severe. In the process of improving the quality standard of automobile gasoline, the proportion of alkylated oil in new gasoline standard is required to increase. However, the traditional alkylated oil production technology has been restricted since the serious pollution and low efficiency for a long period.C4 alkylation catalyzed by ionic liquid is a new environment-friendly and efficient technology. This paper investigated the formation mechanism of chlorinated hydrocarbons in ionic alkylated oils and the composition of exhaust gas with the combustion of chlorinated alkylated oil in engine cylinder by adopting the combination method of experiment, thermodynamic analysis and process simulation. The results were further analyzed and the reaction and combustion conditions were changed to determine the possibility of reaction for chlorinated hydrocarbon formation and the composition of effluent gases by combustion of chlorinated alkylated oil.The qualitative and quantitative analysis of chlorinated hydrocarbons in alkylated oils had been identified by mean of microcoulomb tetrameter, salt content determinator and GC-ECD.The possibility of formation reaction of chlorinated hydrocarbons in process of C4 alkylation was determined by thermodynamic calculation, and the composition of exhaust gases by combustion of the alkylated oil contained chlorinated hydrocarbons was simulated by Aspen Plus. This work would be helpful for the effectively control on the chlorine content in C4 alkylated oil,to guidance the removal technique development for the chloride in alkylated oil,and used to assess the i MPacts of combustion of chlorinated alkylated oil on environment. Finally,it could be to improve the technology of C4 alkylation catalyzed by ionic liquid.
