SAGD,also known as steam-assisted gravity drainage,is a thermal recovery technology widely used in the development of oil sand resources.However,this technology has exposed two crucial problems in the application of block L in Canada,which limit the application of this technology.On the one hand,the shape of the steam chamber in the SAGD production is not inverted triangle,and the current production model does not consider that.On the other hand,according to the production of oil field,the development of SAGD is affected by the permeability heterogeneity,and its influence on the SAGD steam chamber are not yet clear.Therefore,based on these two issues,this paper conducted a study on the productivity of SAGD under homogeneous and heterogeneous conditions based on the L block.First,physical simulation and numerical simulation methods were used to study the development characteristics of steam chamber under homogeneous condition,interlayer condition and heterogeneous condition.The main controlling factor of interlayer on SAGD development was discussed.The results show that the shape of steam chamber is parabola,and the development of steam chamber in the horizontal well direction is uneven due to the heterogeneity of the reservoir.Based on the above research,combined with Butler production model,energy conservation equation and steam absorption model along the well,a production model was established considering reservoir heterogeneity,which is more in line with the actual production of SAGD.Then based on the parameters of L block,the results of model and numerical simulations and experimental are compared to verify the accuracy of the model.Finally,the model was applied to evaluate SAGD production,the model was used to analyze the factors affecting the reservoir productivity,and the influence regular of each factor was obtained.The production model is also used to predict the production index and propose reasonable adjustment measures to improve the development effect.The research content in this paper improves the thermal development theory of SAGD.It has certain practical guiding significance for advancing the application of this technology(SAGD)in oil field.
