Metal indium is one of the national defense strategy metal storage,with wide application in national defense and civil fields,such as machinery,energy,electronics,electrical appliances,aerospace,welding materials,and is useful to the metal indium in the nuclear industry.Especially the growth of the electronics industry such as thin film preparation technology promotion and semiconductor industry demand for high purity metal indium gradually expand,were higher purity metal indium will become one of the important support of national competitiveness.In this paper,by studying the preparation of high purity metal indium,independent design and a new type of purification device,switch contact zone melting method of purification of metal indium,the application of finite element method(fem)analysis of temperature field distribution in the process of smelting metal indium in area,exploring different areas under the condition of smelting effect.In the purification equipment and process of metal indium study,designed and developed for extracting efficiency optimal multiple molten metal indium purification area more molten pool at the same time operating zone melting device,graphite materials as feed ingot body,after exploring a variety of materials using alumina ceramic heater to heat import graphite plate as a constant temperature heat source,and through differential thermal analysis for metal indium,explore the preheat zone melting process of security,non-toxic,harmless in the threshold of security of dimethyl silicone oil in the high frequency preheating,constant temperature heating pan sample reduction zone melting process energy consumption and enhance extraction efficiency,set up operation path of single-chip microcomputer program control equipment,realize the automation of zone melting process control.In terms of Simulation analysis,using Solidworks software to establish three-dimensional calculation model zone melting,in Solidworks Simulation in dimethyl silicone oil average preheating temperature of 120 ? of the convection zone melting process Simulation assessment ability;Considering the zone melting rate is extremely low ignore the influence of flow field,according to the air natural convection coefficient as heat boundary conditions of imported into Solidworks Simulation of transient thermal analysis of temperature field Simulation data.In order to simplify the model,based on the set of material properties with temperature change remain the same.Zone melting by combining finite element simulation data and experimental results analysis concluded that the zone melting experiment on the distribution of temperature field around the heat source was ellipsoid,semicircular canals than square groove is more suitable for purification of zone melting;The scope of the safety threshold value of indium under given temperature preheated will greatly boost zone melting efficiency,do not destroy the balance of zone melting;Coincided basically with the simulation results and experimental results,the simulation results are accurate,the contact zone melting purification is feasible alternatives,further reducing the energy consumption,a new type of zone melting device realizes the automation control,purification production is greatly increased,the perfect function after can meet the demand of the purification of most metals and is suitable for the industrialization promotion.
