AA5182 is mainly used in vehicle body panel,reinforcement plate,and cans procession due to its low density,anticorrosion and good at electric and thermal conductivity.However,compared with mild steel,weak in formability under room temperature has constrained its further use.Research showed that higher temperature will promote the formability of aluminum alloy.Thus,this paper investigate warm forming limit of AA5182.The M-K model based on different yield criterias was developed to predict forming limit of AA5182 under warm condition.And the predicted results were verified by comparing with experiment results.The influence of each parameters on prediction result was analyzed.Besides finite element simulation was implemented on deep drawing of AA5182 under warm condition.The main content and conclusions are shown as follows:?1?Stress-strain curve under different temperatures and the normal anisotropic coefficient were obtained under 25°C300°C and with strain rate from 0.001s-1 to 0.01s-1.The parameters of the hardening model was identified by fitting the experiment data.Then the M-K theoretical model was developed embedded with Barlat89,YLD2000 and Hill48 yield criteria respectively to predict the warm forming limit of AA5182.?2?The forming limit experiment was carried out under 200°C,250°C and 300°C.The forming limit curve?FLC?was plotted after the limit strain of the sample was measured.Validity and accuracy of the predicted results was verified by comparing with experiment results.Then the most suitable yield criteria was selected.?3?Forming limit curve under different conditions?temperature,strain rate sensitivity index and strain hardening exponent?was calculated based on the established M-K model.The influence of each parameter on the model and the cause was analyzed.It turns out that with the increase of temperature,the formability of AA5182 was improved as well.Compared with strain hardening exponent,the variation of strain sensitivity index showed greater influence on the predicted results.Besides it also shows different responses to the variation of strain sensitivity index under different loading path,which was indicated by the changing in shape of predicted FLC.?4?Finite element simulation was implemented on deep drawing of AA5182.Formability problem in the deep drawing process was analyzed.Based on experiment results and the predicted result from the established model,the critical area of the simulation was analyzed.Besides,the influence of temperature on deep drawing was discussed.It turns out that both the theoretical prediction and the finite element simulation are of great significance to industrial production.
