Complex fault block reservoirs are very important reservoirs in the development of oil fields in China,their reserves and production play an important role in the exploitation of oil fields in China.The characteristics of complex fault block reservoir are numerous vertical layers,no uniform oil and water interface,and large difference in energy of edge water.In order to solve the above problems,this paper studies vertical equilibrium displacement method for complex fault block reservoir,including the layer recombination,unstable water injection,layer's production order adjustment,and study the optimization of the above methods for the purpose of vertical equilibrium displacement.Reservoir numerical simulation technology was used to study vertical equilibrium displacement influencing factors,including the permeability ratio,crude oil viscosity ratio,average remaining oil saturation ratio,oil stripe width ratio and edge water energy ratio.At last,the single factor limit of multilayer commingled production is calculated.According to the analysis of the affecting factors of vertical equilibrium displacement,calculated fluid productivity index ratio limit chart,studied the optimization method of layer recombination and developed the automatic optimization software for layer recombination.Vertical equilibrium displacement mechanism of unstable waterflooding is expounded,and analyzed the unstable water injection's affecting factors,including the vertical heterogeneity,oil-water viscosity ratio,edge water energy,water injection timing.Then,obtained unstable water injection conditions,and optimized the waterflooding parameters.The vertical equilibrium displacement potential of layer's production order adjustment is analyzed by using reservoir numerical simulation.In this paper,the optimal calculation method of layer's production order adjustment is proposed.Based on the example of oil field,this method is calculated and verified by reservoir numerical simulation software.
