Cyclopentanone is an important fine chemical intermediate.It can be used to prepare methyl dihydrojasmonate,leukonone,2-n-hexylcyclopentanone,insecticides,herbicides and other products.It can also be used to synthesize buspirone hydrochloride which is a kind of anxiolytics.This design is a process production design for a 500-ton-per-year cyclopentanone production project.The synthetic route of this design uses adipic acid as raw material and sodium hydroxide as catalyst to synthesize cyclopentanone.The raw material through the processes of melting,pyrolysis,alkaline washing,water washing,dehydration,rectification,etc.finally,a high-purity cyclopentanone products is obtained.This process consumes 1010 tons of adipic acid and 15 tons of sodium hydroxide annually,and finally obtains 504.9 tons of cyclopentanone,and the yield of cyclopentanone is 86.8%.This design mainly includes the following design contents: the introduction of cyclopentanone,project background and design basis;production process plan and process design of cyclopentanone;material balance and energy balance of the main process during cyclopentanone production;Selection and calculation of main equipment;equipment layout design and safety production design of cyclopentanone production workshop.
