Recently,drug carriers based on membrane encapsulation have attracted much attention in biomedical fields.Since the erythrocyte membrane-coated nanoparticles can completely preserve the structure and surface proteins of erythrocyte membranes,the nanoparticles show good biocompatibility and immune evasion ability,which makes them have a long body cycle time and become a powerful nano drug delivery platform.Herin,a composite nano drug delivery system based on mesoporous silica rods was proposed,whose drug-loading characteristics,intracellular release characteristics,cytotoxicity,immune evasion ability and targeting were all studied.The erythrocyte membrane and the mesoporous silica rods were prepared based on the improved hypotonic lysis method and the sol-gel method.Besides,the erythrocyte membrane was coated on the surfaces of the mesoporous silica rods by electrostatic adsorption-induced membrane fusion.The encapsulation of the erythrocyte membrane reduces the early leakage of the drug,cytotoxicity of the mesoporous silica nanoparticles and the probability of phagocytosis by macrophages.At the same time,the composite nano drug carrier also exhibits pH-sensitive release characteristics.In addition,the Sgc8 aptamer targeting CCRF-CEM cells were modified on the erythrocyte membrane by lipid intercalation technique,and the drug dose in leukemia cells was increased by specific recognition of aptamer and receptors.Therefore,drug-loaded mesoporous silica nanoparticles coated with erythrocyte membrane have great application prospects in drug delivery.
