Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles?SPIONs?with single crystal structure were prepared by high temperature thermal decomposition method with Fe?acac?3)as iron source.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy?XPS?and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy?FTIR?were used to characterize the surface compositions, the morphologies and crystal structures of the samples were determined by transmission electron microscopy?TEM?and X-ray diffraction?XRD?.The hydrodynamic size and Zeta potential analyzer were used to detect the hydrodynamic properties of the nanoparticles. The superconducting quantum analyzer?SQUID?was used to analyze the saturation magnetization of the nanoparticles at 300 K.The SPIONs dispersion was heated by the alternating magnetic fields generated by high frequency induction heating equipment. This work provides the equipment base for the application of iron oxide nanoparticles in RF magnetic field. The main results are as follows:?1?PEG and PEI-modified superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles?PEI/PEG-SPIONs?were prepared by using polyethylene glycol?PEG?as solvent and polyethyleneimine?PEI-1800?as additive. The superparamagnetism and stability of PEG/PEI-SPIONs were analyzed.PEG/PEI-SPIONs were found to be stable in water and in phosphate buffer?PBS?for 12 hours.?2?PEG-modified SPIONs?PEG-SPIONs?were prepared with PEG as solvent. The stability and superparamagnetism of PEG-SPIONs were analyzed,The temperature of SPIONs dispersion solution increased from room temperature to 45?when the SPIONs were heated in alternating magnetic field.?3?The induction of high-frequency induction heating equipment and the design of the induction coils,as well as the use of radio frequency spectrum analyzer for the safe working range of measurement and evaluation of high-frequency induction heating equipment were investigated.?4?The effect of alternating magnetic field on the temperature rise of SPIONs solution and the effect of different concentrations of SPIONs on the same alternating magnetic field were investigated by using the high-frequency induction heating equipment to study the heating effects of SPIONs.The SPIONs as heating agents in the alternating magnetic field have very good application prospects in biomedical fields.
