In order to enhance oil recovery, maximize the use of remaining oil, encryption adjustment technology has been widely developed, which leads to the decrease of the inter-well distance and the increase of well collision risks between old wells and infill wells. Therefore, well collision accidents should be minimized during drilling process and how to detect the inter-well distance is raising more and more attention. The research status of anti-collision technology and well trajectory visualization technology is investigated in this work.Due to the drill bit vibration signal characteristic of nonlinear,non-stationary,feature extraction method based on EMD and HHT is selected to extract the characteristic signal of drill bit.And then we analyze the collected signal from *** oilfield and obtain the frequency band of drill bit vibration signal is between 150 Hz and 400 Hz.Also, the characteristics of drill bit vibration waves, propagating across casing and formation, are studied. On this basis,we establish inter-well distances calculation model and introduce the procedure of locating the drill bit through passive location technology. It is found that the new proposed model can predict the changes of inter-well distances and meet the anti-collision requirements. However, since there exists many branch holes in branched well and the collected signal is the superposition of branch holes signal, the new proposed model is not applicable in branched well and need to be further studied.Based on the calculation model,we design a well trajectory visualization soft by Delphi and OpenGL.The functions of soft are to analyze surveying data and collected signal, locate the drill bit, draw 2-D and 3-D well trajectory, and accomplish rotation and scaling operation. It enables drilling engineer to make quick and efficient decisions.
