| Gas storage plays significant role in natural gas supply,gas peak adjustment and emergency reserve in a region,due to its continuous production and the highly risky characteristics of natural gas including high temperature,high pressure,inflammable,explosive and prone to leak.So,as an important part of the safety barrier,it is critical to ensure the function validity of the safety instrumented systems.At present,the assessment of functional safety of the domestic gas storage is still in its infancy,and there is no method To assess the functional safety of safety instrumented systems systematically.There are a series of problems in actual engineering application,such as whether the safety integrity of the safety instrumented systems are sufficient,whether redundant configuration is appropriate,whether the maintenance inspection strategy is reasonable and so on.Based on the investigation and analysis of the present situation of the western gas storage safety instrumented systems,and combined with existing research results of SIL evaluation,a set of SIL analysis mode suitable for the safety instrumented systems of the gas storage is proposed,including the establishment of SIL evaluation model based on Monte Carlo simulation combined with Markov method and considering the common cause failure as well as diagnosis coverage of the diverse structure.Then 125 SISs in the whole gas storage are analyzed by SIL,ascertain the SIL verification status and configuration rules of each station,as well as the systems in both "under-protection" and "over-protection" condition.Besidse,the impact of the SIS structure fault-tolerance and test strategy on system performance sensitivity are studied respectively to optimize the function of gas storage safety instrumented systems and meet the SIS configuration and safety of gas storage.And in order to ensure the normal execution of the functional safety maintenance,the SIS spare parts strategy model is established based on the reliability principle and safety integrity level requirements,and the model is applied to the study of SIS spare parts number determination and inventory management,providing technical guidance for the management of spare parts demand for SIS maintenance.Finally,based on the IEC 61508 standard and the model established in this paper,the SIL evaluation and optimization software is developed with MATLAB GUI programming tools,including SIL evaluation function of poor data and diversity architecture,SIS structural fault tolerance and testing strategy sensitivity analysis as well as the determination of SIS spare parts demand.Then the functional software is applied in the gas storage corresponding SIL assessment and safety optimization study.The result shows that Matlab GUI design software compared with manual calculation can help users efficiently and accurately evaluate the SIL and optimization research.It also proves that the functional software has a certain engineering practicability,which can provide technical support for the practical application of the project. |
