Study On The Application Of The Combination Of Lacquer And Cold Forging

This article attempts to explore the combination of materials and craftsmanship in the context of comprehensive materials and contemporary art to create a new visual effect.This combination is also the integration of technology and art,it’s full of challenges and fun.The thesis mainly focuses on the combination of lacquer process and metal cold forging process.Lacquer and metal were used by artisans as early as the Shang and Zhou Dynasties to make exquisite crafts.Painted on metal,not only can highlight the pattern,but also plays a role in adhesion,rust prevention and repair.And as the supporter of lacquer,metal uses its ductility to create more opportunities for the incorporation of lacquer.In combination with my own creation,the thesis attempts to transform the manuscript into a comprehensive material language for presentation.Mainly the lacquer and metal copper plate are combined and applied through their respective process techniques.By recording the process of creation,the problems and solutions,we can see that after the combination of lacquer and copper,it complements the material and technology and also adds its own highlights,thus proving the lacquer process and cold forging.The combination of process and application is feasible.In the context of the rapid development of contemporary art,the new process of traditional crafts is a process in which traditional crafts constantly infiltrate and promote each other.
