Silicone hydrogel lenses are increasingly popular with their hydrogel softness and comfort and silicone high oxygen permeability.However,the surface of the silicone hydrogel lens is too hydrophobic.When worn,the lens easily adsorbs non-polar lipids and hydrophobins in the tears.These substances are densely deposited on the surface of the hydrophobic lens and are difficult to remove,which seriously affects optical permeability of the lens.At present,the care solution products for targeted lens lipid deposits are scarce on the market.Therefore,the development and research of high-efficiency lipid-removing silicone hydrogel contact lens care solution has great application value and market prospect.This paper designed and developed a multi-functional contact lens care solution with polyoxyethylene castor oil(EL-35)as the main cleaning agent,which is mainly used to solve the problem of cleaning the lipid deposition on silicone hydrogel lenses.Polyoxyethylene castor oil is a nonionic surfactant with excellent emulsifying properties.It has good solubility and solubilization for oil-based fat-soluble substances and other water-insoluble organic substances,and is non-irritating to eyes and skin.This thesis has carried out a lot of research and exploration on various functions such as lipid removal,protein removal,sterilization,disinfection and moisturizing of silicone hydrogel contact lens care solution,and has obtained some valuable results.The specific work is as follows:1.Study of a new multi-purpose silicone hydrogel contact lens solution,which uses EL-35 and poloxamer(F127)as a cleaning agent,and also contains bactericide,moisturizer,buffer,osmotic pressure adjustment and chelating agents.2.A method for the determination of cholesterol in lipid deposits of silicone hydrogel lenses by high performance liquid chromatography was established.The column was Hedera ODS-2 C18 column and the mobile phase was acetonitrile-isopropanol(70:30,v/v),The method is simple in operation,high in sensitivity and accurate.3.An evaluation method for removing the effectiveness of silicone hydrogel lens lipid deposits was established.Soak the silicone hydrogel lens in artificial tears with high lipid..The high-performance liquid phase method was used to detect the cholesterol content in the lens eluate,and the cholesterol removal rate was used to characterize the lipid-eliminating efficiency of the contact lens care solution..4.The method for detecting the content of EL-35 in the care solution was established,the content of EL-35 was determined by spectrophotometry using iodine-potassium iodide solution as the chromogenic reagent.The method is good in terms of linearity,precision,and result correlation,which can be used as a method for quality control of EL-35 in the care solution.5.Establish a method for detecting the content of F127 in the care solution,and use high-performance gel chromatography to detect the content of poloxamer in the care solution.Using TSKgel G3000SW as the column,the mobile phase is sodium dihydrogen phosphate solution:acetonitrile.The method can be used as a method for quality control of poloxamer in a care solution.6.The performance of the self-made multifunctional contact lens care solution was tested and evaluated,the care solution formulation is optimized.The results show that the care solution can effectively remove the lipid deposits of the silicone hydrogel lens.The physical and chemical parameters of the care solution meet the industry standards and have functions such as sterilization and moisturizing.The innovation of this paper:1.Study of a new high-efficiency lipid-removing multifunctional silicone hydrogel contact lens care solution.2.An analytical method for the active ingredients EL-35 and F127 in the care solution was established,which can be used for quality control of the care solution.
