In this paper,the effect of flotation index during flotation of a high carbonaceous gold ore(carbon grade 6.68%)by carbonaceous matter.Firstly,the mineralogy of raw ore and the influence of carbonaceous matter on flotation index of carbonaceous gold ore were studied systematically.Then The carbonaceous matter affecting flotation was also characterized.The adsorption of carbonaceous matter on the reagent and the effect of the cover on the mineral surface on the flotation of gold-bearing ores were studied.Finally,the conditions of the mixed flotation process were tested and combined with ultrasonic pretreatment and carbon depressant addition.Provide theoretical basis and reference for this type of carbon-bearing gold ore flotation.Research indicates:(1)The gold ore sample is fine-grained sulfide-poor with carbonaceous mylonitized quartzite as the main ore-hosting rock,Pyrite and a small amount of sphalerite are the main metal sulfides,There are also a small amount of fine flake graphite.Most of the natural gold is associated with metal sulfides,like pyrite,arsenopyrite and trace graphite.The main gold-bearing mineral of gold is pyrite.carbonaceous matter is closely related to pyrite,graphite contains a small amount of pyrite,and a large number of carbonaceous matter is observed between quartz particles.(2)The carbonaceous matter separated by non-mineralization reagent flotation which The carbon phase is mainly organic carbon,and contains a small amount of graphite carbon and carbonate.The carbonaceous matter has strong adsorption capacity to the collector,which is the main cause of the lower gold recovery(the adsorption rate of butyl xanthate and ammonium dibutyl dithiophosphate were 49.88%and 27.44%,respectively).At pH of 9,the carbonaceous matter has the lowest adsorption rate for butyl xanthate and ammonium dibutyl dithiophosphate.sodium naphthalene sulfonate can reduce the carbon grade of crude concentrate from 15.44%to 13.89%and increase the gold recovery from 30.76%to 45.65%.(3)Compared with the flotation system of quartz and pyrite,the content of Si in the concentrate obtained from the flotation system of quartz,pyrite and carbonaceous matter increases from 13.52% to 15.63%,and the sulfur content decreases from 26.5% to 23.25%.After the ultrasonic treatment,the grade of the pyrite is improved,the content of the gangue minerals in the concentrate is reduced,the content of Si in the sulfur concentrate is reduced from 15.63% to 14.76%,and the sulfur content is increased from 23.25% to 24.30%.(4)The optimum conditions of flotation process are as follows: The grinding fineness of 65% passing-74 ?m,Lime is the regulator,the best dosage is 2 g/t,The optimal dosage of the copper sulfate is 500 g/t,The butyl xanthate and ammonium dibutyl dithiophosphate are used as a combined collector,and each addition of 300 g/t,The optimum dosage of diesel oil is 50 g/t.adopting the flowsheet with two roughs selection,two cleans,and two scavenging was 39.34 g/t,and the gold recovery was 74.85%.After the process optimization,the gold grade was increased from 39.34 g/t.to 40.28 g/t,the gold recovery was increased from 74.85% to 79.20%,Tailings gold loss decreased from 9.32% to 8.41%.
