Luminescence is a common physical phenomenon in our lives, and luminescent materials have become an indispensable and important material in people's lives.Non-rare earth luminescent materials have been widely used in white LEDs due to their non-toxic environmental protection, low raw materials prices, and simple synthetic process, and may also be used in ultraviolet and visible light sources, biological fields, communications engineering, physical optics, and medicine. In this paper, using simple chemical raw materials to prepare spectrum-adjustable BCNO phosphors and BCNO phosphors with long afterglow properties and have conducted in-depth analysis and exploration of their properties, the results are as follows:1.Explore the effects of changing the synthesis process and raw material ratio of BCNO phosphors on the morphology and luminescent properties of the BCNO phosphors. It was determined that the sintering temperature was between 600?700 ?,and the sintering time was controlled at 150 minutes. When the molar ratio of boron source to nitrogen source is 1:1,the fluorescence intensity of the phosphor is the strongest. When the amount of carbon source is changed, the peak position of the emission peak can be red shifted from476 nm?blue light?to 524 nm?green light?,and the quantum efficiency can be 50%,However,the morphology of the sample?regular particles, sizes in the micron range?will not change due to the addition of carbon sources. When tartaric acid was used as the carbon source, the emission peak of BCNO phosphor could red shifted to 579 nm?orange band?,and the morphology becomes a nano-sheet structure.2.The morphology of the long lasting BCNO phosphor is a rod-like structure with the length of 10?m,the XRD pattern shows that it is mainly composed of boron oxide?B2O3?and turbostratic boron nitride?t-BN?.The emission band of the BCNO phosphor is mainly in the blue-violet region, and the emission peak of the afterglow coincides with the peak of the fluorescence emission, which is between 368 nm and 430 nm.Phosphorescence phenomenon of BCNO phosphor can still be observed with the naked eye for 20 min after being irradiated by 365 nm UV lamp.We combined the experimental data and references to summarize the luminescence principle of long afterglow BCNO phosphors. At the same time, the addition of Na+and other alkali metal elements during the preparation process can refine the grain size of the BCNO phosphor, although it does not have much influence on the afterglow properties, but it will increase the luminous intensity.Long afterglow BCNO phosphors have good prospects in the field of biological imaging such as cell imaging.
