In recent years, with the development of industry, environmental pollution has become more and more serious, which affects the daily life of the people. One of the effective methods to remove inhalable particles is called for electric agglomeration technology, which can make inhalable particles agglomerate into big particles in alternating electric field,so that the inhalable particles can be removed by traditional ESPs efficiently. In this paper, experiments are conducted about particles agglomeration in alternating electric field using wet electrode. The related parameters of the agglomeration chamber are analyzed by the experiment to study the agglomerating efficiency of inhalable particles.Specific contents include:Different peak voltage, water flow rate, flue wind velocity as well as initial particle concentration. The optimal parameters are obtained through experiments.Based on the experimental conditions,,the surfactant solution is sprayed into the flue to study the agglomerating efficiency of inhalable particles. The experiments indicated the following results.(1)With the increase of the water flow rate, the agglomerating efficiency of the particles is also increasing.(2)The best experimental conditions can be optimized:The water flow rate is 300L/h,the initial particle concentration is 3g/m~3,the peak voltage is 35kV,and the flue wind speed is0.8m/s.(3)The Triton X-100 and SDS surfactant solution can increase the agglomerating efficiency of inhalable particles from 36.52%to 38.51%and 43.04%,respectively under the optimal conditions, indicating that the effect of the anionic surfactant is better than nonionic surfactant. Both of them can obtain the best agglomeration efficiency at the concentration of 0.1%.In conclusion, this article summarizes the relevant patterns of the particles agglomeration in alternating electric field using wet electrode and explores the agglomeration effect of adding surfactant on inhalable particles, which provide a research base for the industrial removal of inhalable particles.
