There are the two ways preparing the polychromatic fluorescent materials,the one is the mixing of the various phosphors,the other is the preparation of a single matrix with the multiple fluorescence emission.The mixing of the variety phosphor powders,which will produce all kinds of defects such that the mixed light color is uneven,the color absorption occurs,and the ageing rate is accelerated among the mixture,and so on.By contrast,the single matrix,which owes a more comprehensive and stable performance.Layered rare earth hydroxide?LRHs?,due to its adjustable composition and rich inserted layer structure,the ingenious and function combination the host rare earth hydroxide and the guest sensitizer,which can be prepared into a single matrix of fluorescent function materials and thin films.In this paper,we focused on the two tasks,the first was the synthetic of layered rare earth hydroxide,the second was combining the layered rare earth hydroxide and the organic guest,prepareing the luminescent materials.?1?LlnH?ln are Eu and Tb?layered hydroxide,the interlayer complex of LEuH-DPA and LTbH-DPA,and LlnH-DPA?ln are Eu and Tb,and their molar ratio is 1?transparent fluorescent film were prepared.under the same wavelength ultraviolet light,Eu3+and Tb3+achieve the co-luminescence emiting.By adjusting the molar ratio of the Eu3+and Tb3+,the series of LlnH-DPA can emit from red,orange to green.?2?[Y0.95-xYbxEu0.05]2?OH?5NO3·nH2O layered rare earth hydroxide was preparated.The characterization indicated that Yb replaced Y,which can help prepare the smaller particles and nano-sized ternary layer hydroxide,and contribute to the Eu3+monochromatic red emission.When stimulated by external photoelectrons,it is inferred that there is the molecular energy transfer phenomenon in the intramolecular of[Y0.95-xYbxEu0.05]2?OH?5NO3(energy transfer from Eu3+to Yb3+).?3?[Y0.90Yb0.05Eu0.05]2-LRHs layer rare earth hydroxide was preparated.By8-hydroxyquinoline intercalating and coordinating with[Y0.90Yb0.05Eu0.05]2-LRHs,[Y0.90Yb0.05Eu0.05]2-8q phosphors was synthesized.Under the ultraviolet and visible light,[Y0.90Yb0.05Eu0.05]2-8q emited blue-green luminescence.8-hydroxyquinoline can not sensitize Eu3+?5D0-7F2?emiting red,realizing[Y0.95-xYbx Eu0.05]2?OH?5NO3·nH2O white emission.
