The superabsorbent fiber contains a large number of hydrophilic groups and a lightly cross-linked space grid structure,which can quickly absorb water and effectively retain water.Its performance is superior to traditional absorbent materials that rely on capillary water absorption.Super-absorbent fibers,fabrics,non-woven fabrics and other super-absorbent materials have been developed using super-absorbent fibers.The application fields involve construction,medical treatment,agriculture,forestry,and environmental protection.Based on the principle of moisture evaporation and heat dissipation,the application of superabsorbent fibers in cooling garments has also received widespread attention.Based on the performance characteristics of superabsorbent fibers and existing research,this topic develops superabsorbent fiber flakes and explores its application in cooling vests and welding protective clothing.The cooling vest is required to have a cooling effect within a specified period of time,and the welding protective clothing emphasizes the instantaneous cooling effect.According to the principle of heat transfer,the heat transfer process in two application scenarios is analyzed,the theoretical calculation of heat transfer is carried out,and experimental verification is carried out.The main contents are as follows:(1)Super absorbent flake and performance.Using superabsorbent fibers with different water absorption ratios,mixed with viscose fibers and polyester fibers in different proportions respectively,and developed different superabsorbent flakes through non-woven processing technology.Test the water absorption index of the superabsorbent flake and the water retention index under different conditions;place the superabsorbent flake on a vertical thermal radiation instrument with a constant temperature,and use the infrared radiation lamp on the other side to study at different irradiation temperatures The temperature difference between the surface and back of the lower superabsorbent fiber flake and the correlation between its water content and cooling performance.(2)Research on the application of superabsorbent flakes on cooling vests.Analyze the heat exchange process of the "human body-cooling vest-environment" system under indoor high temperature environment,and establish the theoretical formula of cooling vest evaporation and heat dissipation.Theoretical calculations show that: during its effective cooling time,the average evaporation rate of water and the thermodynamic temperature have a fourth-order exponential relationship;of which,when the ambient temperature is between 45 ?-60 ?,there is almost a linear correlation.In the laboratory,a vertical thermal radiometer and an infrared radiation lamp are used to simulate the high-temperature heating environment.For the sample XP-4(SAF50/PET50),when the radiation temperature is 45? and 60?,the effective cooling time is 85 minutes and 50 minutes,respectively..The actual wearing effect shows that the continuous cooling effect and comfort of the water-absorbing cooling vest are better than the cooling vest of the 18? phase change material: under the conditions of outdoor temperature 32?-35? and measured ground temperature 50?,the 18? phase change material The cooling vest lasts only about 1 hour,and then it will feel hot and sweaty;the temperature of the B cooling vest(using XP-3 as the cooling flake)can be maintained at 29-32.5?,and the cooling duration exceeds 2 Hours;A-type cooling vest(using XP-4 as the cooling flake)The cooling time can be maintained at more than 2h without dampness.(3)Research on the application of superabsorbent flakes in welding protective clothing.The systematic analysis and calculation of the heat flow in the process of solder droplet splashing,and then explore the relationship between the heat carried by the solder droplet,the diameter of the solder droplet and the moisture content and thickness of the flake.Analyze the heat transfer in three processes,including the flying of solder droplets from the molten pool and the heat flow during the flight;the heat transfer of the solder droplets after contact with the garment fabric;the contact of the solder droplets with the superabsorbent fiber flakes after water absorption Heat transfer.Analysis and calculations show that there is a certain relationship between the diameter of the welding drop and the thickness of the conventional flame-retardant fabric or superabsorbent fiber flake,and the protection effect can be achieved if certain conditions are met.
