In recent years,the zinc hydrometallurgy industry is faced with various factors such as low market,high cost of zinc concentrate,complex composition,etc.the main metal zinc has been unable to guarantee the economic benefits of the enterprise.Through the recovery of valuable metal elements such as copper,cadmium,cobalt,silver,etc.,it has become the main way for the enterprise to increase economic benefits.In terms of ore sources,high impurity raw materials have become the main raw materials for the production of various enterprises.Therefore,the use of high impurity raw materials has become an important problem for zinc hydrometallurgy enterprises.How to break through the difficulties,tap the potential and increase efficiency,and improve the adaptability of the system to raw materials has become a key work for enterprises to improve their technical level and enhance their market competitiveness.In view of the low adaptability of zinc purification system for hydrometallurgy in Northwest Lead Zinc Smelter of Baiyin Nonferrous Group Co,Ltd.to high impurity raw materials,resulting in low purification efficiency,frequent fluctuation of the system,high production cost,etc.,through demonstration analysis and experimental research,two-stage purification process for copper and cadmium removal and new process for cobalt removal with reagents are developed,and the optimal process control parameters are determined.At the same time,the comprehensive recovery process and equipment configuration of nickel cobalt slag were optimized.Based on the experimental research and production experience,the two-stage purification process for copper and cadmium removal and the new process for cobalt removal with reagents are put forward.At last,the operation standard of industrial production technology of purification system of zinc hydrometallurgy is put forward.Through the improvement and industrial application of purification system technology,the phased results are obtained,and some economic benefits are created,so as to achieve the research purpose of improving the adaptability of purification system to high-grade raw materials.
