While technology continues to advance and society is highly developed, industries such as machinery, chemicals, transportation and transportation are also booming. The large amount of energy consumption associated with f riction and wear has largely slowed down or even hindered the development of industry. The losses caused by heat dissipation and material loss are also enormous. The improvement of energy utilization efficiency is a problem to be solved. The generation of lubrication technology greatly reduces the energy consumption.Various additives have also been developed for lubricants, greases and the like, and anti-wear agents have attracted much attention. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the effect of t ungsten disulfide,multi-walled carbon nanotubes and polytetrafluoroethylene as lubricant additives on the tribological properties of bentonite grease. These three substances were separately dispersed in a base oil PAO6?polyaolefin synthesis base oil?to prepare a stable and uniformly dispersed PAO6 suspension. In this paper, three different dispersion schemes are adopted for the three substances. For the dispersion of tungsten disulfide in base oil,the effects of surfactant T154,ball milling and ultraso nic milling on the dispersion stability were studied. The suspension particle stability time and the average particle size of the suspension were used to characterize the suspension.Stability;dispersion of multi-walled carbon nanotubes in base oil.Firstly,multi-walled carbon nanotubes were modified with oleic acid. The multi-walled carbon nanotubes before and after oleic acid modification were compared by infrared and SEM.The effects of four treatment methods:ball milling, ultrasonic and ultrasonic ball milling on the dispersion performance. The average particle size and sedimentation percentage of the suspension are used to characterize the dispersion stability. The dispersion of PTFE in the base oil mainly uses ball milling, ultrasonic and ultrasonic ball milling. In this way,the average particle size of the suspension and the percentage of sedimentation were used to characterize the dispersion stability, and the mechanism of stable dispersion of these three substances in the base oil was investigated. Finally, the suspension with the best dispersing properties of WS2/MWCNTs/PTFE was used as the base oil to prepare the bentonite grease. The effects of the mass fraction of WS2/MWCNTs/PTFE on the tribological properties of bentonite grease were studied. This work not only successfully dispersed tungsten disulfide,multi-walled carbon nanotubes and polytetrafluoroethylene uniformly into the base oil PAO6,but also successfully prepared WS2/MWCNTs/PTFE-based bentonite grease as a base oil.The tribological properties of the grease were studied and the best mass fraction of the three particles as a bentonite grease additive was obtained.
