Compactor is widely used in high speed wire collecting system In recent years,the industry of compactor develops rapidly.The power source of compactor is hydraulic pressure.Hydraulic control technology has been widely used in many fields.Compared with other driving methods,hydraulic driving has many obvious advantages,such as relatively small volume,large torque,fast response,high stiffness,high power-weight ratio and high precision.However,hydraulic systems also have disadvantages such as friction,dead zones,and gaps.In addition,due to the dynamic characteristics of the pipelines,proportional valves and hydraulic cylinders of the electro-hydraulic system in the process of operation,these dynamic characteristics directly affect the state parameters of the system,so that the characteristics of the system at different times of operation are completely different,that is,time-varying.And even the same hydraulic system,because the distance between hydraulic station and equipment is different,path length of the pipeline is different,different valve block processing,because of the limitation of the space,equipment installed with deviation of equipment centerline and the position of the center line of the transportation system,these factors will lead to equipment running status is different,the velocity of four hydraulic motor of tying head feeding or string wire are not synchronized,pressure plate speed out of sync,the coil of wire not in the center of hook after tied,need to consume a large amount of time to debug,sometimes still can't achieve satisfactory results.Firstly,this paper analyzes the structure of the automatic wire compactor,which mainly includes two pressing plates,wire guide,lifting table,four tying heads,four feeding devices,wire accumulate,hydraulic station.Secondly,based on the requirements of the furnace and the control requirement of controller,this paper introduces the selection scheme of the control system.According to the furnace characteristics,and taking into account of the factors,such as cost and efficiency,it chooses a control system with main hardware based on PLC,distributed IO,and touch screen.The distributed IO collects the IO signal and executes the control signal.PLC is used as the controller to carry out the process control,logic control and so on.HMI is used to monitor the status and parameters setting.Then this paper introduces the hardware system construction,the key components selection and software system design.The software includes the PLC and HMI design.Then,this paper introduce traditional PID and adaptive fuzzy PID controller respectively.Traditional PID describes the principle of linear PID and the method of setting parameter.Adaptive fuzzy PID controller describes how to determinate its structure and its input and output,on the domain,fuzzy subset and selection method of membership function,fuzzy control rules and the establishment of query table,selection method of fuzzy control quantization factor and proportion factor,and how to establish fuzzy reasoning system.Finally in the commissioning of compactor exported to Brazil,through the field measured data to analyze the effect of using the fuzzy PID control the pressure plate of compactor in the site of commissioning,and compare with PID control system,analyze the advantages and the disadvantages of using the fuzzy PID controller to control the hydraulic proportional valve,for further optimizing the hydraulic control system of the compactor indicate the direction.
