Wetting phenomena can normally be found in nature and are commonly seen in our daily life.Surface wettability plays an important role in both scientific research and practical applications of interfacial materials.Nearly all of the chemical and physical processes of multiphase systems can be more or less influenced by the wetting condition of the interface.Surfaces with special wettability represent a type of functional surfaces that have extremely high or low affinity with a specific liquid,including superhydrophilic,superhydrophobic,superoleophilic,superoleophobic and so on.Special wetting surfaces have been studied widely owing to their wide range of potential applications in self-cleaning,anti-corrosion,anti-fog,drag reduction,oilwater separation and so on.In the study,different surfaces with special wettability were fabricated and characterized including a superhydrophilic and superoleophobic oilwater separation mesh film and a superhudrophobic material.The potential applications of the materials with special wettability were explored.The main contents about this dissertation are summarized as follows:1.A new type of oil-water separation mesh film was prepared by using hydrophilic nanomaterials.The oil-water separation mesh film has superhydrophilic and superoleophobic properties.A simple oil-water separation device was designed to investigate the separation ability of oil-water separation mesh films.2.Superhydrophobic surface was prepared by PU-PMMA IPN and fluorinated nanoparticles.This surface shows antifouling,self-cleaning and friction resistance properties.3.This study proposes a combination of superhydrophobic materials and foam separation techniques.In this paper,alfalfa leaf protein was selected as the research object,and the effect of superhydrophobic coating on the separation of alfalfa leaf protein was studied.4.Superhydrophobic materials are applied to the protection of stone relics.Surface characteristics,gas permeability,thermal conductivity and weather resistance of stone materials with superhydrophobic coatings were tested.
