The Design Of Cultural And Creative Products Of Campus Based On Woodblock Printing Craft

The topic of this paper is The Design of Cultural and Creative Products of Campus based on Woodblock Printing Craft,which combined woodblock printing craft and the design and production of cultural and creative products of campus based on meticulous study of this kind of craft.This paper applied traditional craft to modern design while make reflection of the inheritance of its value and the expression of its semantic to realize the innovation of design thinking and the rich of design methodology.This work includes five chapters.The first chapter is introduction,which mainly introduces the content and status,purpose and meaning,methods and innovation points and the organization of this study.The second chapter mainly discusses the history and craft of woodblock printing.The third chapter the current status and the meaning of its promotion in contemporary society.The fourth chapter is the main body of this paper,which presents the works based on the investigation of the development of the cultural and creative products of Southeast University and the feasible means of the application of this craft to modern design.The fifth chapter is the conclusion of this paper,which will make extensive thinking of the combination of woodblock printing craft and modern design,and make an expectation of the innovation of honorable traditional handicraft.This paper has used literature research method,observational method,investigation method,method of comparative analysis and method of induction in writing.This study has made documents research and investigation of the history and craft of woodblock printing,which will bring innovative visual experience and presenting methods during the process of applying woodblock printing to the design of the cultural and creative products of Southeast University,hoping this study could cause concern to this craft within a certain extent and inject new vitality to the cultural and creative products of campus.The most urgent problem today is searching suitable developing space for this craft based on understanding its historical evolution and cultural connotation.
