Zirconium and zirconium alloys is widely used in the fields of aerospace,deep-sea,chemical industry,medicine,and nuclear power because of its outstanding properties such as low density,good corrosion resistance,good biocompatibility and excellent neutron absorption performance.With the move of developing clean energy,it becomes the important goals that increasing the energy consumption,breaking the research and manufacture barrier of the core technology of nuclear grade zirconium products.Influenced by Japan's fukushima nuclear leakage accident,for manufacture and research of nuclear-grade zirconium,the higher safety standard become the significant target,especially for the zirconium tube with thin wall thickness which is less than 1.0 mm as the first safe barrier of nuclear power reactor,therefore,mastering the regular pattern of its organization and the pile of application performance and characteristics should be concerned by the nuclear power technology researchers and also be the research direction in the nuclear power field.This paper mainly studies tubing of tin niobium system based on zirconium alloy as the main research object,respectively expounds the technological process,characteristics of the quality control,the important process of organization form and potential defects and it's causes,fig.out the factors which affect metallographic and the properties of products.The paper elaborates the different process stages of whole tubing manufacture and its corresponding microscopic structure,the structure's property and the method of sample preparation for microscopic test from respectively the experiment material,test principle,organization form of tube,ring pipe mechanics to the three aspects of performance.The inner rules of relevant microscopic and the properties of tube are obtained for offering the basic data and theoretical basis support to develop thezirconium alloy,fixe the processes and improve the properties of products by the designed tests with different conditions which include tensile test of ventricular ring under high temperature,high temperature blasting test,the contractile strain ratio testing,determination of hydride s orientation factor,external pressure creep collapse test and internal pressure creep collapse test,those tests simulate the existing situation of the tube in the nuclear grade zirconium reactor.Studies show that setting microscopic test in the process is beneficial to carry out the process and control the product's quality,because the relevant properties of different zirconium grades such as Zr-4,Zirlo etc.and the comparison of those properties could be attained under the different conditions though the tensile test of ventricular ring.
