The Study On The Safety Evaluation Of Guangdong Province Guanpan Expressway

With the economic development of the coastal zone,the demand for road construction has gradually increased,and the problem of road safety has become increasingly prominent.Analysis of a large number of road accident data at home and abroad shows that road safety assessment work and related research can better reduce road accidents.In order to further improve the design level and road safety performance of the Guanpan Expressway,and to accurately grasp the safety status and traffic characteristics of the Guanpan Expressway,this paper conducts a comprehensive safety evaluation based on its preliminary design information and in combination with the actual project.In order to reduce traffic accidents after the expressway is opened to traffic and improve road safety performance.Firstly,the research background and significance of the safety evaluation of Guanpan Expressway are introduced,and the status quo of highway safety evaluation research at home and abroad is summarized.Based on this,the content and process of this paper are put forward.Secondly,the project status is introduced in detail from various aspects,and the overall safety evaluation of the highway is performed,including the alignment of linear space,the consistency of linear design,and the coordination of operating speed.Among them,the forecast and results of running speed are introduced in detail.Thirdly,the classification and description of the horizontal and vertical design indicators,roadside safety,and road surface safety issues of the Guanpan Expressway route are put forward,and specific suggestions are made.From bridges,tunnels,interchanges and service areas,traffic engineering and facilities are evaluated for the safety of structures along the line,and suggestions are made accordingly.Based on the above safety evaluation,the security of the sections where the tunnel is connected to the interchange,extra long tunnels,poor rainfall and climate performance are checked.Finally,the conclusions are drawn on the safety evaluation of the entire Guanpan Expressway,and the shortcomings and research prospects of the research are put forward.
